The Jezebel spirit hates the prophetic, uncompromising voice. It cannot accomplish its agenda with a prophet around. However, I shall not so much talk about the queen Jezebel, but expose how hidden motives combine with a strong desire in certain people find ways to achieve influence and exercise control.
