He became a member of the Church of England about this time and obtained a position as lay reader of St. Paul's Church in Edenton. Since several members of the vestry of St. Paul's Parish were trustees of the academy, it is reasonable to assume that he had contacted these men and made known to them his desire to become a minister of the Church of England. Do you know that when it comes to the Rohingya people, the Burmese government doesn't uphold any of the Articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights?Nothing can excuse us from the criminal silence that we practice in not voicing our concern about the plight of the Rohingya people.
