Book excerpt: The Outpour: An Anthology of Emotion is fascinating. Each poem takes a life of it’s own. Readers are able to identify with the diverse situations portrayed in each poem. Most of the collected poems are hyperboles of emotion felt at one time or another by Poet Kasmira Cade. Kasmira has managed to capture basic human emotions and exaggerate them by giving each poem character, simultaneously allowing us to learn more about ourselves and the depth of human emotion. The Outpour is a therapeutic must read!

Book Theory Of Everything Science and the Bible

Download or read book Theory Of Everything Science and the Bible written by Olufolahan Olatoye Akintola and published by Olufolahan Olatoye Akintola. This book was released on 2013-04-24 with total page 345 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: New scientific discoveries unveiled by comparing scientific principles with spiritual principles of the Bible. Both scientific and scriptural information confirm that Light is the source of all things and it was the first manifestation at the beginning of universe, which led to the creation of all other things. This book unveils many interesting parallels between biblical and scientific descriptions of light with new scientific discoveries. This gives a better understanding of the scientific theory of the three spectra of Lights and seven frequencies of radiation. "I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts; the rest are details." – Albert Einstein”

Book Bremen and Freiburg Lectures

Download or read book Bremen and Freiburg Lectures written by Martin Heidegger and published by Indiana University Press. This book was released on 2012-07-02 with total page 218 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume presents two important lecture cycles delivered after WWII, exploring the poetry of Hölderlin and the nature of thought itself. Heidegger delivered his lecture series, Insight into That Which Is, at Bremen in 1949. It was his first speaking engagement after World War II, when he was officially banned from teaching. Here, Heidegger openly resumes thinking that deeply engaged him with Hölderlin’s poetry and themes developed in his earlier works. In the Freiburg lectures, delivered in 1957, Heidegger ponders thought itself and freely engages with the German idealists and Greek thinkers who had provoked him in the past. Andrew J. Mitchell’s translation allows English-speaking readers to explore important connections with Heidegger’s earlier works on language, logic, and reality.

Book The Path of Our Growth in Life

Download or read book The Path of Our Growth in Life written by Witness Lee and published by Living Stream Ministry. This book was released on 2001-11-01 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Every brother and sister should have a clear understanding that at the time they prayed and called on the Lord, the Lord's life entered into them. This is not a doctrine but a reality. When a person calls on the Lord, the Lord's life will enter into him. If someone desires to look into the Christian life, he must realize that the Christian life is basically a matter of life. Life is the origin and foundation of everything. It is our way, our power, and our light. Life is everything to us. Since life is such a crucial matter, our most urgent need is to learn how to touch the way of life so that we may grow in life.

Book Why black people aren t black an essay on social hermeneutics language and apperception

Download or read book Why black people aren t black an essay on social hermeneutics language and apperception written by Kristoffer Ehrnström and published by Kristoffer Ehrnström . This book was released on with total page 365 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Does "black" as a social signifier, pregnant with history, really mean what it is thought to mean? Does white, as the symmetrical object of black, really refer to its current form? Or do these apperceptive objects, these epithets, draw energy from somewhere else, a past veiled by current discourse? When we reveal historical figures, in what is supposed to be an idiosyncratic context (in Europe for example), and refer to them simply as "black" due to their hue, are we really putting words in their mouths, colonizing the past anachronistically, implanting memories? Did the whiteness and blackness of the past - active within a social construct - really transcend physical appearance? Is the current culture of equity, for example actors portraying historical figures from the premise that their physical appearance wasn't present, really a revisionist act through replacement by representation - the replacement of the one representing themselves, by themselves? These are some of the questions this essay tries to answer.

Book THE CORONAVIRUS EFFECT

Download or read book THE CORONAVIRUS EFFECT written by ISAIAH MACWEALTH and published by GP Publisher. This book was released on with total page 173 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The never seen coronavirus pandemic has brought every nation to its knees and seeks to further cause fear, panic and great losses. Many claim the virus was from an experiment, others say it was planned by China while even propaganda in China says it is from the US. Could this pandemic be a harbinger of worst things to come? Could it be signaling the new era of chaos? When will it end and can the world recover from its effect? In September of 2019, I had a vision and in that vision I saw a pale horse and a rider. The rider was pink in body and apparel, the horse was also light pink in colour. Then I heard, 'The pale horse has been released', which is the spirit of death and hell with a mission to bring mass death on the earth so that many may die before they come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and thereby end up in hell. (I will elaborate more on this in the first chapter of this book). Before this time, based on my theology, the four horses spoken about in Revelations chapter 6 are to ride after the rapture.

Book Renewal Worship

    Book Details:
  • Author : Steven Félix-Jäger
  • Publisher : InterVarsity Press
  • Release : 2022-09-06
  • ISBN : 1514000156
  • Pages : 182 pages

Download or read book Renewal Worship written by Steven Félix-Jäger and published by InterVarsity Press. This book was released on 2022-09-06 with total page 182 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At its best, all Christian worship is led by the Holy Spirit. But is there a distinctive theology of Pentecostal worship? The Pentecostal church or the renewal movement is among the fastest-growing parts of the body of Christ around the world, which makes understanding its theology and practice critical for the future of the church. In this volume in IVP Academic's Dynamics of Christian Worship (DCW) series, theologian Steven Félix-Jäger offers a theology of renewal worship, including its biblical foundations, how its global nature is expressed in particular localities, and how charismatic worship distinctively shapes the community of faith. With his guidance, the whole church might understand better what it means to pray, "Come, Holy Spirit!" The Dynamics of Christian Worship series draws from a wide range of worshiping contexts and denominational backgrounds to unpack the many dynamics of Christian worship—including prayer, reading the Bible, preaching, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, music, visual art, architecture, and more—to deepen both the theology and practice of Christian worship for the life of the church.
