In this, his twenty-third book, the doctor addresses how a deep state network that is aligned with Luciferian globalists, has infiltrated government, America's healthcare system, the mainstream media, public education, and the entertainment industry. With the souls of the America's children hanging in the balance, Dr. McCollough explains why patriots of all races, religions, and both genders must unite, to see that every child grows up in a world where God--not Luciferian governance--reigns supreme, as it was in the beginning.

Book In the Shadow of the Garrison State

Download or read book In the Shadow of the Garrison State written by Aaron L. Friedberg and published by Princeton University Press. This book was released on 2012-01-06 with total page 416 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: War--or the threat of war--usually strengthens states as governments tax, draft soldiers, exert control over industrial production, and dampen internal dissent in order to build military might. The United States, however, was founded on the suspicion of state power, a suspicion that continued to gird its institutional architecture and inform the sentiments of many of its politicians and citizens through the twentieth century. In this comprehensive rethinking of postwar political history, Aaron Friedberg convincingly argues that such anti-statist inclinations prevented Cold War anxieties from transforming the United States into the garrison state it might have become in their absence. Drawing on an array of primary and secondary sources, including newly available archival materials, Friedberg concludes that the "weakness" of the American state served as a profound source of national strength that allowed the United States to outperform and outlast its supremely centralized and statist rival: the Soviet Union. Friedberg's analysis of the U. S. government's approach to taxation, conscription, industrial planning, scientific research and development, and armaments manufacturing reveals that the American state did expand during the early Cold War period. But domestic constraints on its expansion--including those stemming from mean self-interest as well as those guided by a principled belief in the virtues of limiting federal power--protected economic vitality, technological superiority, and public support for Cold War activities. The strategic synthesis that emerged by the early 1960s was functional as well as stable, enabling the United States to deter, contain, and ultimately outlive the Soviet Union precisely because the American state did not limit unduly the political, personal, and economic freedom of its citizens. Political scientists, historians, and general readers interested in Cold War history will value this thoroughly researched volume. Friedberg's insightful scholarship will also inspire future policy by contributing to our understanding of how liberal democracy's inherent qualities nurture its survival and spread.

Book Orwell s Oceania and the U S A After September 11 Will Fiction Become Fact

This book was released on 2007-10 with total page 158 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Diploma Thesis from the year 2004 in the subject American Studies - Comparative Literature, grade: 1 (A), University of Graz (American Studies), language: English, abstract: INSPIRATION What does it mean when the name "Orwell" is mentioned in the news? Does it mean that fiction has become fact? Is America heading towards a totalitarian society? These are the questions I asked myself when I began to carve out the framework for the topic of my thesis. It was in the aftermath of September 11, 2001 that I developed a genuine interest about America and its domestic and political agendas. When the planes slammed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, I was on my way to go to a class at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. What I remember about my state of mind on that day is that I was rather confused and unexplainably unmoved by what had happened. As it turned out later, my emotional passiveness was a shock reaction. It took me a few weeks to realize the disastrous events of that day. At the beginning of October 2001 Matthew Rothschild, editor of The Progressive, came to speak at the University of Eau Claire. At that time I was a camera man for the campus TV station and I thought it would be a good idea to record Rothschild ́s speech and make a little report for our weekly news show. Rothschild talked very convincingly about the necessity to increase the American people ́s awareness of how America ́s foreign policy depends on a domestic policy which the Bush government would be aggressively imposing on the U.S.A. His speech had a crucial effect on me. I began to study the American mainstream media culture and was particularly interested in their presentation of America ́s role in the world. Simultaneously I observed how almost all the government ́s responses were declared to be in the name of patriotism and national security. Whether it was the war in Afghanistan or tighter domestic laws, the government demanded the unequivocal and unquestioning approval of th

(The Decline and Fall fleshes out what Emmanuel Goldsteins The Book, from Orwells 1984, may look like today.) America, as we are conditioned and believe we know it to be, is dissolving before our very eyes. Ask yourself: what is it that is not being said? Book World Beyond Reason The Orwellian Factor

Download or read book World Beyond Reason The Orwellian Factor written by James C. Lewis and published by Dorrance Publishing. This book was released on 2020-08-10 with total page 575 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: World Beyond Reason: The Orwellian Factor By: James C. Lewis World Beyond Reason: The Orwellian Factor is the product of several years of focused research and investigation prompted by national and world occurrences. There is a movement in this country to change the United States from a merit-based, market-economy typically referred to as “capitalism” to a Marxist nation by a group called “Progressives.” These Progressives claim they believe collectivist thought under a “Democratic Socialism” ideology would best serve the nation and world. James C. Lewis’s research has revealed that these Marxists fail to grasp they are being manipulated by a force whose ultimate goal is not socialism at all, but a totalitarian ideology under the misleading title of “New World Order.” But, this goal is not merely for the United States but will cover the entire world. Lewis’s research reveals that many events that are occurring today, such as the COVID-19 virus, the coming activation of the 5G network, Islamic terrorism, the “Deep State” or “shadow government,” failing countries, millions of displaced “refugees,” even the Progressive movement, are all calculated to destabilize the Western world enough that the “remedial” outcome will allow those NWO forces to take over and usher in a one-government world. My goal is to expose all of this so the American people get a full understanding that this is all very serious and dangerous to our very existence as a country and as a free people. Lewis, as a (retired) paralegal, spent his career in a field requiring careful legal and factual research, an understanding about human nature, criminal and constitutional law. He brings those skills to the research of this book.

Book A Sociological Analysis of Incipient Totalitarianism in the United States

Download or read book A Sociological Analysis of Incipient Totalitarianism in the United States written by Brendan Maguire and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2024-12-27 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Using George Orwell’s novel Nineteen Eighty-Four as a guide for interpreting the role of the American state in the twenty-first century – paying particular attention to how the government responded to the life and death issues of terrorism, COVID-19, and climate change – this book presents eye-opening and compelling documentary evidence that suggests Orwellian policies have already been implemented by Republicans and Democrats. A Sociological Analysis of Incipient Totalitarianism in the United States advances a groundbreaking sociological explanation for how totalitarian rule is embraced by the public when freedom, equality, and justice are compromised, offering a sociological explanation of how totalitarian rule is operationalized from the macro level to the micro level, using concepts associated with Marx (ruling ideas), Mead (generalized other) and Berger and Luckmann (recipe knowledge) which are especially key to understanding the process. Finally, the book suggests policies that could halt and reverse the progression of totalitarianism in the United States. Scholarly and yet readily accessible to a general readership, this book showcases the sociological importance and enduring influence of Orwell – working as a supplement to Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four and making a meaningful contribution to the public discourse by challenging and informing students and the public about the very real fears of creeping totalitarianism in the United States.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Anthony L. Hall takes aim at the global events of 2014 with a unique and refreshing perspective. For example, on: Media broadcasting terrorist propaganda as breaking news We live in a Twitter age of such promiscuous, indiscriminate and surreal media practices that it seems perfectly normal for our own media to be helping the enemy perpetrate psychological warfare against us. What else explains the media shielding us from the epithets of racists, but bombarding us with the taunts of terrorists? Snowboarder Shaun White failing to medal at Sochi Olympics Frankly, I think its fair to say that never before in Olympic history has an athlete so hyped to win gold failed to even win bronze. Only authoritarian regimes can govern Arab countries Show me an Arab country governed by a democratically elected government and Ill show you one that is an ungovernable mess. Feminist call for liberated women to ditch high heels Its a reflection of the addictive high women get on heels that, when theyre barefoot (or wearing tennis shoes), they invariably perch themselves on the balls of their feet to simulate those missing high heels. Have you noticed this? Putinization of Russia Putins propaganda has done such a terrific job of convincing Russians that Westerners are undermining their culture at home and threatening the safety of fellow Russians abroad, the credibility of his presidency now depends on backing up his neo-Stalinist words with avenging military action. Police in U.S. killing unarmed Black men If I hear another political or civic leader calling for a conversation on race, Im going to puke. Because nothing will do more to curb deadly encounters between the police and young Black men than requiring the former to attach cameras to their bulletproof vests and prevailing upon the latter to obey police orders.

Download or read book The Business of War written by James A. Tyner and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2017-11-30 with total page 252 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since the cessation of major combat operations in Iraq, approximately 120 people - either contract workers or private soldiers - have been abducted, with one-third being executed. The largest contingent of these workers has been provided by the Philippines. Through a specific, though not exclusive, focus on the Philippines connection, this book considers the myriad ways in which transnational labour migration intersects with the occupation of Iraq. Also examining the role of the USA in the Middle East, the book places the war on terror within the practices of neoliberalism, but also links this with migration issues and argues that it is all part of a larger 'business' of conflict.
