Book The Order of Zion Classic Reprint

Download or read book The Order of Zion Classic Reprint written by John Zahnd and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2018-01-21 with total page 96 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Order of Zion In giving this book to the public I do so with no apology on my part. I feel that every individual has a right to ex press his own opinions and convictions and also feel that we owe it to each other to express our opinions publicly as well as in private for the benefit and the good that we can do to each other. I feel that there is a necessity for the honest hearted to combine in establishing an order of affairs in such a way that justice might be done to everyone. In the Order of Zion I believe it is the only possible chance to bring about the conditions which are longed and sought for by so many of God's people and while we see the great trend that is being made among the nations of the earth for common ownership of all things as far as public utilities are concerned, it is no new idea upon my part, but I am only seeking to help in the establishing of that order of things that will make us not only better qualified as citi zens of a nation, but that we might come nearer to the pur pose of Christ, our Lord, and prepare ourselves to the end when we may look for his return to claim his own. I trust that all those who may be interested, will seek to come together in unity of purpose, of action, and in this we will establish the Order of Zion. There reigned Melchisedec, king of Salem, which is king of peace a priest of the Most High, and a type of the Messiah. Zion, frequently, in the book of Psalms, also in the prophetical writ ings, represents the Church. But it Will be remembered, that the Daughters of Zion belong to a peculiar race, whose features are characteristic, and do not, therefore, admit of any great scope for the play of the imagination, in the delineation of their personal appearance. Book The Myth of the Jewish Menace the World Affairs

Download or read book The Myth of the Jewish Menace the World Affairs written by Lucien Wolf and published by . This book was released on 2015-06-30 with total page 64 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from The Myth of the Jewish Menace the World Affairs: Or the Truth About the Forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion The substance of the following three essays was originally contributed, in the form of independent articles to the Manchester Guardian, the Spectator, and the Daily Telegraph respectively. They have been carefully revised, much amplified, and largely rewritten in order to make a connected argument and avoid repetition. Footnotes of authorities have been added. My grateful acknowledgments are due to the Editors of the Manchester Guardian, the Spectator, and the Daily Telegraph for their kindness in permitting this republication. I confess to a feeling of shame at having to write this pamphlet at all. That reputable newspapers in this country should be seeking to transplant here the seeds of Prussian anti-Semitism, and that they should employ for this purpose devices so questionable and a literature so melodramatically silly, cannot but cause a sense of humiliation to any self-respecting Englishman. It is for this reason that I have strictly limited myself to an examination of the specific charges formulated by these publications. I cannot bring myself to believe that it is necessary to deal with them on a larger scale. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Book Walks About Zion Classic Reprint

Download or read book Walks About Zion Classic Reprint written by Joseph Elliot and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2015-07-04 with total page 176 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Walks About Zion In accordance with suggestions of several friends, the following addresses have been prepared for the press as a contribution to family Sabbath readings, and with a view to prayer meetings held in the absence of stated ministers. In this age of growing Christian activities, it often devolves on many besides ministers of the Gospel to preside at prayer meetings. Some think it well to supplement remarks of their own with readings from different authors; but difficulty is often felt in making suitable selection. Excellent printed sermons can easily be obtained; but most of them are far too long for such meetings, and to read a part or parts thereof is a plan that has its disadvantages. Such are some of the considerations that have had to do with the preparation of the following addresses. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Hill and City: Mount Zion Mount Zion is the golden key to all knowledge, the fountain of life and rest of the Church, around which all the Prophets clustered; and for an understanding, Divines should read the Index, and then the whole straight through from the beginning. Astronomers and scientists, straight through from the beginning, and the middle class two or three times over. There is a wonderful variety of minds in this class, and some of the very best. For light-minded persons, skeptics, and infidels, they can read the book of Armynea and the Prophets several years before reading this. Moreover, they can understand that the times have been fulfilled as foreshown by the first book, or text-book, counting from Luther to a day, the greatest of all Bible mysteries, to the year seventy-one, and the beginning of the second wine-press, and all of that which is mighty, in which even the wicked are invited to buy, sell, and preach the truth against that old bird, Popery, and all the isms that live. "The creation of the world is too wonderful to believe," ye say; wherefore, then, should I write it otherwise than its great force, when lo, and Behold, out of it came a law, and out of the law Mount Zion, which separates the old world from the great future, and the living from the dead and their plagues, all of, and in which, I stand alone. This cannot be read like o her books, by simply turning the leaves over, as it continually embodies new forms of knowledge, all founded on a system of absolute laws by which are all things and all being, and takes great penetration of mind to read it. Since this book was written the world is being filled with philosophers of Divinity. The wide field of great wonders furnish authors with texts to mix the world up, which I never sent. There can be but one true philosopher of Divinity, since no man living could write the Little Book, 10th chapter of Revelations. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Excerpt from Zion's Holy War: Against the Hosts of Hell in Chicago I ord's day, October I, 1899, marked the beginning of a special Onward Movement in Zion which will, by the Grace of God, be one of the most important religious events which ever occurred in Chicago. On this day the General Over seer made the opening declarations in the Three Months' Holy War Against the Hosts of Hell in Chicago. From the platform to the rear of the immense ground floor, and from that floor to the highest seat in the topmost gallery, Zion Tabernacle's magnificent interior displayed the serried ranks of an audience of over three thousand persons. As the man of God, with simple, direct, but powerful eloquence, set forth the great principles for which Zion was to fight in this War, now opening, the listening thousands were inspired by the mighty words of faith and courage. The fearless denunci ations of sin were sent home to many a heart which cried to God in penitence and, confessing its wrong, vowed a greater faithfulness and more implicit obedience, especially in the matter of dealing honestly with God, and of ceasing to rob God by withholding the tithes and offerings, which, under every Dispensation, were His due. Then the hallowed hour came when, nearly one hundred new members having been received, and two Overseers, three Elders, and a Deacon having been ordained, over two thousand of God's children gathered around the Lord's Table and in the sweet calm of the autumn evening supped with their Lord. Central Zion Tabernacle, Lord's Day Afternoon, October 1, 1899. The meeting was opened by singing Hymn No. 116: There's a royal banner given for display To the soldiers of the King; As an ensign fair we lift it up today, While as ransomed ones we sing.
