Download or read book The Naval History of Great Britain Vol 5 of 6 written by William James and published by Forgotten Books. This book was released on 2017-10-18 with total page 480 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. One-third of these, when the frigates surrendered, took to the water; and several must have been drowned, or killed by the Jason's shot, in attempting to reach the shore. The Topaze, the same that, in July 1805, captured the Blanche, l was added to the British navy under the name of Alcmene, a Topaze being already in the service.
