Download or read book The Golden Fleece written by Salomon Trismosin and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2018-08-18 with total page 186 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Salomon Trismosin was an adept and teacher of Paracelsus. He also wrote Splendor Solis, a well-known text with 22 color plates. Trismosin was born in Germany in the 15th century. His Golden Fleece was almost as popular as The Hieroglyphics and Testament of Nicolas Flamel. Descriptions of various enigmatic figures are included throughout Golden Fleece. These correspond with the illustrations also found in Splendor Solis. However, they are not arranged in the same order as they are in Splendor Solis (1582). They are reproduced here in grayscale in this Second Edition of The Golden Fleece. Based upon my examination of the original handwritten calligraphy in Splendor Solis (1582 edition, in German), I believe that The Golden Fleece is simply another version of Splendor Solis. This Volume also includes the works originally presented in the R.A.M.S. release, Three Tracts: OF NATURE AND ART LIBER TRIUM VERBORUM OF KING CALID THE PHILOSOPHICAL CANONS OF PARACELSUS

As an allegory it links together the spiritual side of alchemy with actual physical laboratory processes. Snyder was an active Alchemist who practiced all over Europe. Hans W. Nintzel selected this work for inclusion in the R.A.M.S. Library. https: //ramsalchemy.jimdo.com
Download or read book Sanguis Naturae written by Christopher Grummet and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2015-04-30 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christopher Grummet wrote this work in the late 17th century. Subtitled, "Manifest Declaration of the Sanguine and Solar Concealed Liquor of Nature," it was selected by Hans W. Nintzel for inclusion in the R.A.M.S. Library. There are a few footnotes in this volume that are attributed to "D.H." Although I have seen footnotes under these same initials in other R.A.M.S. works, the person's identity remains unknown. This Volume of The R.A.M.S. Library of Alchemy also includes "Universal and Particular Processes" by John de Monte Snyder. A much longer work by Monte Snyder is available as The R.A.M.S. Library of Alchemy Volume 31, "The Metamorphosis of the Planets." The symbols in this short work may be more easily understood using R.A.M.S. Volume 21, "Alchemical Symbols."

Containing as well a lengthy segment on the historical roots of occult power from the Hebrews, Egyptians, Persians, and Chaldaeans, the Aurora both cautions against charlatans and defends the proto-chemistry of the Renaissance era.
