Download or read book Symphony of Philosophy Education in Bhagavad Gita Volume 2 written by Dr. Bharati Chand and published by Notion Press. This book was released on 2021-07-19 with total page 587 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book, Symphony of Philosophy & Education in Bhagavad Gita, presents how the flows of the sublime philosophical thoughts and practical instructions merge themselves in the Bhagavad Gita. The philosophical and educational aspects are blended to create a symphony. It shows how the inner harmony and the outer world combine to create a great symphony in life. The book presents the Bhagavad Gita as a practical treatise on the educational system. Thus, it is relevant for the teachers, the trainers, the educationists, the policymakers, etc. It provides them a fresh perspective on how education can be scientifically imparted with core human values as demonstrated in the Bhagavad Gita. It may help spread the messages of the Bhagavad Gita through structured educational techniques through the widespread labyrinth of the schools, colleges and educational institutions – the arms of our educational system. Of course, the common readers and the public at large would see the Bhagavad Gita in a new light.

Download or read book Meditations on God and Man written by Sastry V. Pappu and published by Notion Press. This book was released on 2023-01-05 with total page 517 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a personal story of the author’s conscious and subconscious meditations for decades in understanding the relationship between “Physical Science '' (Matter) and “Spiritual Science” (Spirit). To put it another way, it is a story about the relationship between “Man” (Spirit masked by matter) and “GOD” (pure Spirit). The meditations are the result of the author’s lifelong interest in science in general and in physics in particular. His upbringing in the ritual filled religious tradition of Hinduism evoked deep interest in finding the common ground of all religions. With a conviction that there must be something more absolute than the physical and mental universe of man he spent his life time meditating and discovering that spirituality and religion are as different as day and night. Through his meditation, the author has been able to formulate his own concepts, ideas, and views about the relationship between GOD and Man. The key message of this book is: the time has come for mankind to get onto the integrated path of "Benign Science" and "Pure Spirituality" to save our wonderful planet and to prove the veracity of the Vedic dictum: “The entire earth is one family”.
Download or read book Sanathana Sarathi English Volume 01 1958 to 1969 written by Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre and published by Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre . This book was released on 2022-11-08 with total page 1763 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Started in 1958, Sanathana Sarathi is a monthly magazine devoted to Sathya (Truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanti (Peace) and Prema (Love) - the four cardinal principles of Bhagawan Baba's philosophy. It is published from Prasanthi Nilayam (the Abode of Highest Peace) and acts as a mouthpiece of Baba's Ashram as it speaks of the important events that take place in His sacred Abode, besides carrying Divine Messages conveyed through Divine Discourses of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The word meaning of Sanathana Sarathi is the 'Eternal Charioteer'. It signifies the presence of the Lord in every being as the atma guiding their lives like a charioteer. It implies that he who places his life, the body being likened to a chariot, in an attitude of surrender in the hands of the Lord, will be taken care of by the Lord even as a charioteer would take the occupant of his chariot safely to its destination. The magazine is an instrument to disseminate spiritual knowledge for the moral, physical and mental uplift of humanity without any discrimination as the subject matter discussed therein is always of common interest and of universal appeal. The fifteen Vahinis - streams of sacredness - known as the Vahini Series comprising annotation and interpretation of the Upanishads and other scriptures, Itihasas like the Ramayana, the Bhagavatha and the Mahabharata, and authentic explanations on Dhyana, Dharma, Prema, etc., have been serially published in this magazine as and when they emanated from the Divine pen of Bhagawan Baba. This magazine is published in almost all Indian languages, English and Telugu from Prasanthi Nilayam and others from respective regions. Every year Sanathana Sarathi comes out with a special issue in November commemorating the Divine Birthday. The English and Telugu magazines are posted on the 10th and 23rd respectively, of every month, from Prasanthi Nilayam. This magazine has wide, ever increasing circulation in India as well as abroad, as the study of it brings the reader closer to the philosophy of the Avatar in simple understandable language THUS SPAKE SAI... Discoursing during the launch of Sanathana Sarathi... From this day, our Sanathana Sarathi will lead to victory the cohorts of truth - the Vedas, the Sastras and similar scriptures of all faiths, against the forces of the ego such as injustice, falsehood, immorality and cruelty. This is the reason why it has emerged. This Sarathi will fight in order to establish world prosperity. It is bound to sound the paean of triumph when universal Ananda is achieved.
Download or read book Nectar 6 written by Babaji Bob Kindler and published by Sarada Ramakrishna Vivekananda Associations. This book was released on 2001-12-01 with total page 32 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Advaita, a word of wondrous Oneness, is the specific topic of our Winter issue of Nectar of Nondual Truth — the journal which declares a timeless message of absolute Unity based upon the indivisible and homogenous nature of all existence. Why indivisible? Because despite the apparent bifurcation of Ultimate Reality into two parts, Shiva and Shakti — the static and the dynamic — and these two into a multitude of things via the inscrutable prestidigitation of the hand of Maya, Reality remains both immutable and ever-cohesive. The acts, movements and various conjurings of mind and nature, involved, willingly or unwillingly, in the process of birth, growth, decay and death, can never divide It. Compartmentalization is for creation, not for Consciousness — and even creation, when seen rightly, is one. Why homogenous? Because regardless of the appearance of multiplicity, that pictorial presentation of ephemeral phenomena before the enchanted mind and senses, all is Consciousness, all-pervasive. What is all-pervasive cannot be invited, encouraged, caused, forced, tricked, seduced or persuaded to give up Its innate continuity. The preternatural cosmic laws and powers such as time, space, creation, evolution, dissolution, life, death, transformation and projection are helpless to effect any change in the natural, unique and nonpareil uniformity of Divine Reality. Thus, as the saints, sages, seers and savants all say, there is but one living “substance” in existence, and that is pure conscious Awareness. Being a spiritual verity rather than a material entity, it is true, it is pure, it is real.

Download or read book Nectar 1 written by Babaji Bob Kindler and published by Sarada Ramakrishna Vivekananda Associations. This book was released on 2000-09-25 with total page 32 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this first issue of “Nectar,” the Universal Mother’s transcendent wisdom, we offer articles on Vedanta, on Sufi Meditation, and teachings from the Tantric Wisdom of Mother India. There is an article on Nondual Judaism focused on Jewish spiritual practice, and of course the “Wisdom Facets from the Gem of Truth,” teachings from our SRV ideal — Sarada, Ramakrishna and Vivekananda — whose matchless love and wisdom will grace every future issue. In all these articles, indivisible unity, called Advaita or nondualism, is greatly emphasized. This is one of the aims of our SRV journal, to show that all practice along the spiritual path can and should be undertaken with the fore-knowledge of our essential oneness with God. As my guru used to tell me, “Grace and self-effort must go hand in hand.” Human beings are expressions of God, pure and perfect by nature, but the mind needs to know this. This knowing is called Enlightenment, Illumination, Liberation or Self-realization and cannot be feigned, nor can the integrity of the path leading to It be compromised.
