Further, the technique involved in the division of the bulb calls for special consideration. Many important points are not discussed in the various excellent handbooks on microscopic work, and, although much may be learned from these regarding general methods, the eye, as a rule, is treated briefly. Here, for the first time, an attempt has been made to collect such matter as may prove specially useful to the Ophthalmologist. I am well aware that many workers possess valuable information on certain points, which it has not been my fortune to acquire.
