Download or read book Zen and the art of win tasting written by I. M. Maciel and published by Editorial El Brujo de la Risa Fatal. This book was released on with total page 207 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "In this suggestive and delightful book we will go around a road full of strange characters that will show us, at first hand, what Zen is, what it is about, and its amazing connection to the art and pleasure of wine tasting. Considering its deep roots, which go back to the dawn of the history of humanity, it will reveal us how two worlds apparently different, but complementing and enriching each other in an almost magical way, merge. As the renowned chef Ferran Adrià depicts in his prologue, through Zen philosophy, using its millenary knowledge and some of its techniques (such as zazen), I. M. Maciel’s work reveals the subtle connection between two forms of spirit, two orbs, different but with numerous and suggestive contact points. It is in this way how the reader will discover in its pages the seven precepts that will help him to enjoy, even more than he expected, the wonderful experience of wine tasting; but also to pay attention to the little things that we usually overlook, which hide inside the secret of real happiness".

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Springboarding from an almost off-the-wall comment, Jack Spencer is catapulted into a world of deception, intrigue, and danger. Doc Lucas, his best friend, suddenly passes away and leaves Jack to inherit his church, home, and incomplete research into what he came to know as the Messiah Project. As Jack followed Doc's lead, he discovers facts that were being hidden from the eyes of the world. The deeper he dug into the project, the more dangerous the game became. Jack, a pastor, was formerly a green beret who had also worked for the government on projects so sensitive that the records of his service and training were buried so deeply in the archives that nobody could find them. This was a work that he was uniquely qualified to handle. He just hoped that God would keep him alive long enough to finish the work.

In the not too distant future, China supplies Iran with a coronavirus variant designed to kill Jews. To defend his people, Israel's Prime Minister authorizes development of a powerful AI. Unable to wait, Mossad sends a beautiful spy named Natalie to thwart Iran's plan to test the virus on its own small Jewish population. Before she can return to Israel, she is caught and taken to a notorious prison. Soon after, a handsome superhero named Michael breaks in, fights off guards, and saves Natalie. A YouTube video of the daring rescue goes viral. When Iran's Supreme Ayatollah sees the video, he believes the Zionists have harnessed the supernatural. To hasten the return of the Twelfth Imam and savior, he orders a nuclear attack on Israel. At the same time, China initiates a cyber attack on Israel's infrastructure systems. Threatened from all sides, Israel sends Michael to destroy the Iranian military base where missiles armed with nuclear warheads are poised to launch. If the mission fails, the IDF will execute a preemptive strike, and risk an all out nuclear war. Michael wasn't the Messiah they expected. Download or read book The Messiah s Inventions written by Gordon Ziegler and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2013-11-27 with total page 194 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Noah’s ark was an invention of God (elohiym—the plural (three) form of one God—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit). God the Son later became the incarnate Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, the Anointed One, the very Christ. The original Son of God was undoubtedly the divine agent that communed with Noah, inspiring him with the great invention of God to preserve life through the perils of a world-wide Deluge. Noah was the master builder and preacher of righteousness. God could have translated the people and animals to heaven or some other world before that horrific water holocaust of the entire earth, and relocated them back to earth when the Flood was over. But God chose not to do this. God chose a cooperative effort of God and man at great cost to preserve life on earth during that fearful water holocaust. But the ark, as well designed and built as it was, was in itself not sufficient to preserve life. It required the mighty power of God and the heavenly angels to guide and preserve the ark and its inhabitants during that fearful ordeal. “For this they [last day scoffers—evolutionists] willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” 2 Peter 3:5-7 and context (KJV). In the imminent future we face the fearful peril of one third of the population of the earth being incinerated in a nuclear holocaust (Revelation 9:14-21); also the peril of the corona of the sun going out in darkness, like what happened briefly July 19-23, 2013 (Google dark sun), and the earth’s population freezing to death, or the sun continuing its nova sequence, scorching the earth with great heat, and then going out in darkness. What we desperately need now are new inventions of God, the cooperation of God, men, and angels to preserve life in fire, make the sun unnecessary, flood the entire earth with light and clean energy (Revelation 21:23). God has already inspired one man, said of Lucifer himself to be the Everlasting Father incarnate, the Messiah, the Anointed One, the very Christ, with designs of God of inventions to preserve and restore earth to Edenic condition in this doom of fire. The inventions are already roughly designed and the master builder found and educated. All that is needed now are believing people donating money for these costly heavenly inventions. God will not do this all by Himself. He will work with us as we give our all, be it little or much. This book will tell all about the inventions of God for now, to preserve life through fire and to make the sun unnecessary. What is most needed now is belief in God’s Messiahs. So in this book there will not only be science and technology, but theology, history, and prophetic evidences in favor of Messiah A and Messiah B—Jesus of Nazareth and Gordon L. Ziegler of Lacey, Washington U.S.A. Any and all may now make tax deductable donations to Benevolent Enterprises to actualize the divine inventions to preserve life from a holocaust of fire, restore the earth and its people, and make the sun unnecessary with heavenly light and heat.

Download or read book The Vanguard Messiah written by Sami Sjöberg and published by Walter de Gruyter GmbH & Co KG. This book was released on 2015-08-17 with total page 211 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In recent years the role of religion in the avant-garde has begun to attract scholarly interest. The present volume focuses on the work of the Romanian Jewish poet and visual artist Isidore Isou (1925–2007) who founded the lettrist movement in the 1940s. The Jewish tradition played a critical part in the Western avant-garde as represented by lettrism. The links between lettrism and Judaism are substantial, yet they have been largely unexplored until now. The study investigates the works of a movement that explicitly emphasises its vanguard position while relying on a medieval religious tradition as a source of radical textual techniques. It accounts for lettrism’s renunciation of mainstream traditions in favour of a subversive tradition, in this case Jewish mysticism. The religious inclination of lettrism also affects the notion of the avant-garde. The elements of the Jewish tradition in Isou’s theories and artistic production evoke a broader framework where religion and experimental art supplement each other.

Download or read book Jewish Communities in Modern Asia written by Rotem Kowner and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2023-04-30 with total page 447 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jewish settlement in Asia, beyond the Middle East, is largely a modern phenomenon. Imperial expansion and adventurism by Great Britain and Russia were the chief motors that initially drove Jewish settlers to move eastwards, in the nineteenth century, combined as this was with the rise of port cities and general development of the global economy. The new immigrants soon become centrally involved, in ways quite disproportionate to their numbers, in Asian commerce. Their role and centrality finished with the outbreak of World War II, the chaos that resulted from the fighting, and the consequent collapse of Western imperialism. This unique, ground-breaking book charts their rise and fall while pointing to signs of these communities' post-war resurgence and revival. Fourteen chapters by many of the most prominent authorities in the field, from a range of perspectives, explore questions of identity, society, and culture across several Asian locales. It is essential reading for scholars of Asian Studies and Jewish Studies.
