Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This publication, "The Master's Well-Done," is a book on The Stewardship of Prayer, Evangelism (Soul-winning), and The Master's Well-Done. The First Phase of our publication is concerned about the Stewardship of Prayer. Many churches in the land, just as a considerable lot of its individuals from those churches, have neglected to profit themselves of the spiritual power that may be theirs if they followed the claim of early Christians and tarried in the upper room until they, as well, were endued with power from on high. Many Christians experience life with their spirits incredibly undernourished spiritually, and that amidst God's boundless abundance from which we are allowed to choose those nourishments that are expected to make us strong, happy, and useful in the service of the Lord. "We have not because we ask not.." The second phase of this publication concerns Soul-Winning (Evangelism). What number of individuals from your church truly put forth any genuine attempt to win others (souls) to Christ? Since there are in a portion of our churches a few laborers who win various others to Christ during the year, and a significant number of the callings are because of the works of ministers, evangelists, preachers, the genuine number of soul-winners is far less than what we would anticipate. Each Christian who has ever occupied themselves with it will affirm that triumphant spirits carries larger fulfillments to the laborer than some other phase of service on earth. The Bible likewise reveals that the rewards for soul-winning on the earth to come will be bigger than those for some other phase of Christian effort in which we can engage. At long last the third phase of this publication concerns the Master's Well-Done. The Bible gives us reason to believe that there will be degrees of reward in heaven depending on our faithfulness in this life. We can't theorize on the character of these rewards, however we can expect that God has revealed this truth as a stimulus to loyalty and effort. It is beyond imagination or not possible to suppose that the church member who neglects spiritual responsibilities will have the status in heaven as the good steward who gives himself and his means unsparingly for the cause of Jesus Christ. For the latter, heaven will begin with his Master's approving "Well-Done." However, the reward of the faithful Christian is not all deferred to the future. Loyalty to Jesus Christ and his church brings present felicities as well as lasting joys to come. The truly happy Christian is the committed Christian whose happiness is in the joy of service, and for whom heaven awaits.

Book The Spy Masters Thrillers

Download or read book The Spy Masters Thrillers written by Alex Gerlis and published by Canelo. This book was released on 2022-11-24 with total page 1782 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Journey behind enemy lines in Second World War Europe with the The Spy Masters Thrillers. Includes all four books in the series; The Best of Our Spies, The Swiss Spy, Vienna Spies and The Berlin Spies. The Best of Our Spies: In the Pas de Calais, Nathalie Mercier, a young British Special Operations Executive secret agent working with the French Resistance, disappears. In London, her husband Owen Quinn, an officer with Royal Navy Intelligence, discovers the truth about her role in the Allies’ sophisticated deception at the heart of D-Day. Appalled but determined, Quinn sets off on a perilous hunt through France in search of his wife. Aided by the Resistance in his search, he makes good progress. But, caught up by the bitterness of the war and its insatiable appetite for revenge, he risks total destruction... The Swiss Spy: All spies have secrets, but Henry Hunter has more than most. After he is stopped by British Intelligence at Croydon airport on the eve of the Second World War, he discovers one more devastating than any before. From Switzerland he embarks on a series of increasingly perilous missions into Nazi Germany. In March, 1941, in Berlin, haunted by a dark episode from his past, he makes a fateful decision, resulting in a dramatic journey to the Swiss frontier and a shocking encounter... Vienna Spies: With the end of the Second World War in sight, the Allies begin to divide up the spoils and it proves to be a dangerous game. The British have become aware that, contrary to prior agreements, the Soviet Union is intent on controlling Austria once the war ends. Major Edgar is tasked with the job of establishing an espionage unit in Vienna to monitor the situation. He sends in two agents – Rolf Eder and Katharina Hoch – to track down Austria's most respected politician and bring him over to the British cause. But the feared Soviet spy Viktor Krasotkin is already in the war-torn city, embarking on exactly the same mission... The Berlin Spies: Berlin, 1945. SS recruits gather east of the city for an audacious yet ill-fated mission to bring about a Fourth Reich. Three decades later, a young British diplomat in East Berlin is compromised after falling into a honey-trap. He contacts Major Edgar, a veteran British spymaster, who is drawn into an unlikely alliance with his old adversary, Viktor Krasotkin. Soon they are plunged into a world of Nazi war criminals and double agents. With nobody to trust, they must rely on each other. But as Cold War tensions rise, the cracks begin to show. A masterclass in espionage fiction, these tense, tightly plotted novels are perfect for fans of John le Carré, Len Deighton and Jack Higgins. Praise for Alex Gerlis ‘A classic spy story, with twists and turns that keep you engrossed. Excellent.’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reader review ‘Brilliant... you cannot put it down. Spy thriller lovers must read this incredible story.’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reader review ‘The sense of time and place is second to none, and the characters are well drawn and very believable. A hugely satisfying and entertaining venture into the spy fiction genre.’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reader review ‘I couldn't put this down it grabbed my attention so well. Book excerpt: Well Done provides any business leader insights on how to strive for excellence in building their business and ordering their life. Although the phrase “Well Done” has a noble connotation to it, many business leaders, including Ken Gosnell, have a difficult time describing and defining what those words look like in the life of a business that is led by a person of faith. In Well Done, Ken describes the twelve biblical business principles that can help any leader who desires to grow their business and its Kingdom impact. These principles help to create a strategic roadmap for leaders to hear the words “Well Done” at the end of their journey. Every leader deserves to hear the words Well Done. Life is too short, and business is too difficult to work throughout life and miss what matters most.
