Book Antichrist The Beast Revealed

Download or read book Antichrist The Beast Revealed written by Edward Hendrie and published by Edward Hendrie. This book was released on 2015-04-16 with total page 722 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The antichrist is among us, here and now. This book proves it by comparing the biblical prophecies about the antichrist with the evidence that those prophecies have been fulfilled. This book documents the man of sin?s esoteric confession that he is the antichrist. You will learn how the antichrist has changed times and laws as prophesied by Daniel, and how he is today sitting in the temple of God, ?shewing himself that he is God,? in fulfillment of Paul?s prophesy in 2 Thessalonians 2:4. The beast of Revelation has come into the world, ?after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness,? as prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 2:10.

Book The Papacy

    Book Details:
  • Author : J. A. Wylie
  • Publisher : TEACH Services, Inc.
  • Release : 2002-06
  • ISBN : 1572581883
  • Pages : 98 pages

Download or read book The Papacy written by J. A. Wylie and published by TEACH Services, Inc.. This book was released on 2002-06 with total page 98 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The whole economy of Redemption, and the whole course of History are the broad substructions on which the argument is based and built up; and the author humbly submits that it cannot be overturned, or the conclusion arrived at set aside, without dislocating and shaking the structure of both Revelation and Providence. The same line of proof which establishes that Christ is the promised Messiah, conversely applied, establishes that the Roman system is the predicted Apostasy. In the life of Christ we behold the converse of what the Antichrist must be and in the prophecy of the Antichrist we are shown the converse of what Christ must be, and was. And when we place the Papacy between the two and compare it with each, we find, on the one hand, that it is the perfect converse of Christ as seen in His life and, on the other, that it is the perfect image of the Antichrist as shown in the prophecy of Him. We conclude, therefore, that if Jesus of Nazareth be the Christ, the Roman Papacy is the Antichrist. This book contains the classic teaching of the Protestant Reformation regarding the Antichrist (an integral part of that Reformation, we might add--as all the Reformed creeds and confessions attest). The easy reading format and style make this book an ideal introduction to this topic.

Book excerpt: Of the worlds major religions, only Christianity holds to a doctrine of original sin. Ideas are powerful, and they shape who we are and who we become. The fact that many Christians believe there is something in human nature that is, and will always be, contrary to God, is not just a problem but a tragedy. So why do the doctrines assumptions of human nature so infiltrate our pulpits, sermons, and theological bookshelves? How is it so misconstrued in times of grief, pastoral care, and personal shame? How did we fall so far from Gods original blessing in the garden to this pervasive belief in humanitys innate inability to do good? In this book, Danielle Shroyer takes readers through an overview of the historical development of the doctrine, pointing out important missteps and overcalculations, and providing alternative ways to approach often-used Scriptures. Throughout, she brings the primary claims of original sin to their untenable (and unbiblical) conclusions. In Original Blessing, she shows not only how we got this doctrine wrong, but how we can put sin back in its rightful place: in a broader context of redemption and the blessing of humanitys creation in the image of God.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The following demonstration is rested on no narrow basis. Its two postulates, like two posterns, admit us into the edifice, but they are not its foundations. Book Being Deified

    Book Details:

  • Publisher : Fortress Press
  • Release : 2016-12-01
  • ISBN : 1506410812
  • Pages : 295 pages

Download or read book Being Deified written by David Russell Mosley and published by Fortress Press. This book was released on 2016-12-01 with total page 295 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Being Deified examines the importance of deification to Christian theology and the place of human creativity in deification. Deification is an explanatory force for the major categories of Christian theology: creation, fall, incarnation, theological anthropology, as well as the sacraments. Deification explains, in part, the why of creation and the what of humanity: God created in order to deify, humanity is created to be deified; the what of the Fall: the desire for divinity outside of God’s gifts; one of the purposes for the Incarnation: to deify; and what end the sacraments aid: deification. Essential to deification is human creativity for humans are created in the image of God, the Creator. In order to explore this dimension of deification, this essay focuses on works of poetry and fantasy, in many ways the pinnacle of human creativity since both genres cause the making strange of things familiar (language and creation itself) in part to make them better known, particularly as creations of the Creator.

Book The Collected Works of Martin Luther

Download or read book The Collected Works of Martin Luther written by Martin Luther and published by Good Press. This book was released on 2023-11-16 with total page 1847 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Martin Luther's 'The Collected Works of Martin Luther' is a comprehensive collection of writings by the influential theologian and leader of the Protestant Reformation. The book covers a wide range of topics including theology, biblical interpretation, and the relationship between church and state. Luther's writing style is direct, passionate, and deeply rooted in his spiritual beliefs, making it both engaging and thought-provoking for readers. This collection provides valuable insights into the historical and religious context of the 16th century Europe, shedding light on the turbulent times in which Luther lived and worked. Martin Luther, a German monk and theologian, wrote these works in response to the corruption and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. His bold ideas and critiques sparked a major religious movement and forever changed the course of Western Christianity. Luther's personal experiences and strong convictions are evident in his writing, making it a valuable resource for scholars and readers interested in the Reformation era. I highly recommend 'The Collected Works of Martin Luther' to anyone interested in the history of Christianity, theology, or the Protestant Reformation. Luther's writings are not only historically significant but also intellectually stimulating, offering a unique perspective on faith and spirituality.
