Book The Maliniak Method

Download or read book The Maliniak Method written by Leon Maliniak and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2012-04-01 with total page 102 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Announcing A Major Break-Through In The Science Of Hair Loss And Male Pattern Baldness A radical new theory has recently been published which explains that HAIR LOSS and MALE PATTERN BALDNESS are really caused by TWO factors and not just one, as was previously thought. Stop Hair Loss and Grow New Hair with the Maliniak Method The first factor, which is the radical new element, is the third layer of the TOP of the scalp called the GALEA which becomes very “tight” in some people, disrupts ordinary blood flow to the follicles and sets in motion the sequence of events which triggers hair loss. The role of the GALEA has been debated for years, but this new theory provides the rationale for concluding that it must be involved because men only go bald in the areas where this GALEA exists and nowhere else. The second factor is still dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which this new theory now states only accumulates due to this restricted blood flow and which is still the actual “killer” of follicles, as per the conventional wisdom. Even more significantly, this theory also concludes that “dormant” follicles can in fact be revived to produce hair again contrary to everything we were previously told. The new theory is called the MALINIAK METHOD and is published by BORN AGAIN, The Alternate Science Company. More importantly, this theory also provides a simple new two-step treatment method which first relaxes the GALEA with simple massage techniques to restore proper blood flow to the top of the scalp. It then stimulates the dormant follicles to produce hair again with an electrical stimulation device which revives the use of an old established science derived from NIKOLA TESLA. It has been around for one hundred years and is still being used to this day but in other applications. It has been adopted and adapted in the MALINIAK METHOD to treat HAIR LOSS because that is one of the purposes it was used for originally. Two independent scientific studies have recently been published which confirm the validity of the TWO main premises of the MALINIAK METHOD. One of them is from the CROWN institute in Pickering, Ontario, which confirms that the GALEA is in fact involved in hair loss and male pattern baldness. It also concludes that a reduction in the oxygen going to the follicles causes DHT to be overproduced, adding another explanation for why this “tightness” of the scalp is at the root of this problem. The second study is from the University of Pennsylvania which found that certain types of STEM CELLS called “progenitor” cells are more numerous in non-bald areas and that these dormant cells can in fact be induced to become “progenitor” cells, in effect, be “revived” and induced to produce hair again, contrary to the previous knowledge and as predicted by the MALINIAK METHOD.

Book International Political Economy

Download or read book International Political Economy written by Nicola Phillips and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2010-10-04 with total page 368 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book gathers together a set of lively, provocative essays by leading voices in International Political Economy to debate the evolution of the field, its current state and its future directions. Prompted by recent commentaries on the existence of a ‘transatlantic divide’ in IPE between an ‘American school’ and a ‘British school’, the essays provide a wide-ranging discussion of whether it is useful to think of the field in these terms, what the ‘American’ and ‘British’ schools look like, what their achievements and shortcomings are, and what are the desirable future directions for IPE scholarship. The diverse responses to these questions reflect the ongoing vibrancy and diversity of the field of IPE, and open up an imaginative and engaging discussion about where we need to go from here. Book Tactical Constructivism Method and International Relations

Download or read book Tactical Constructivism Method and International Relations written by Brent J. Steele and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2019-06-28 with total page 359 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a book on methods, how scholars embody them and how working within, from or against Constructivism has shaped that use and embodiment. A vibrant cross-section of contributors write of interdisciplinary encounters, first interactions with the ‘discipline’ of International Relations, discuss engagements in different techniques and tactics, and of pursuing different methods ranging from ethnographic to computer simulations, from sociology to philosophy and history. Presenting a range of voices, many constructivist, some outside and even critical of Constructivism, the volume shows methods as useful tools for approaching research and political positions in International Relations, while also containing contingent, inexact, unexpected, and even surprising qualities for opening further research. It gives a rich account of how the discipline was transformed in the 1990s and early 2000s, and how this shaped careers, positions and interactions. It will be of interest to both students and scholars of methods and theory in International Relations and global politics.

Book The Making of Global International Relations

Download or read book The Making of Global International Relations written by Amitav Acharya and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2019-02-14 with total page 397 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents a challenge to the discipline of international relations (IR) to rethink itself, in the light of both its own modern origins, and the two centuries of world history that have shaped it. By tracking the development of thinking about IR, and the practice of world politics, this book shows how they relate to each other across five time periods from nineteenth-century colonialism, through two world wars, the Cold War and decolonization, to twenty-first-century globalization. It gives equal weight to both the neglected voices and histories of the Global South, and the traditionally dominant perspectives of the West, showing how they have moved from nearly complete separation to the beginnings of significant integration. The authors argue that IR needs to continue this globalizing movement if it is to cope with the rapidly emerging post-Western world order, with its more diffuse distribution of wealth, power and cultural authority.

Book An Analysis of Hans J Morgenthau s Politics Among Nations

Download or read book An Analysis of Hans J Morgenthau s Politics Among Nations written by Ramon Pacheco Pardo and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2017-07-05 with total page 102 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hans Morgenthau’s Politics Among Nations is a classic of political science, built on the firm foundation of Morgenthau’s watertight reasoning skills. The central aim of reasoning is to construct a logical and persuasive argument that carefully organizes and supports its conclusions – often around a central concept or scheme of argumentation. Morgenthau’s subject was international relations – the way in which the world’s nations interact, and come into conflict or peace – a topic which was of vital importance during the unstable wake of the Second World War. To the complex problem of understanding the ways in which the post-war nations were jostling for power, Morgenthau brought a comprehensive schema: the concept of “realism” – or, in other words, the idea that every nation will act so as to maximise its own interests. From this basis, Morgenthau builds a systematic argument for a pragmatic approach to international relations in which nations seeking consensus should aim for a balance of power, grounding relations between states in understandings of how the interests of individual nations can be maximized. Though seismic shifts in international politics after the Cold War undeniably altered the landscape of international relations, Morgenthau’s dispassionate reasoning about the nature of our world remains influential to this day.

Book A Poststructuralist Discourse Theory of Global Politics

Download or read book A Poststructuralist Discourse Theory of Global Politics written by Dirk Nabers and published by Springer. This book was released on 2015-10-07 with total page 436 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book develops a discourse theory of crisis and change in global politics. Crisis is conceptualized as structural dislocation, resting on difference and incompleteness. Change is seen as the continuous but ultimately futile effort to gain a full identity. The incompleteness and contingent character of the social represents the most important condition for democratic politics to become possible and for a theory of crisis and change to become conceivable. In this new understanding, crisis loses its everyday meaning of a periodically occurring event. Instead, crisis becomes an omnipresent feature of the social fabric. It represents the absence of ground, of social foundation, and it rests within the subject as well as within the social whole.
