Book My Hypnotist the Big Roulette Wheel of Internet Dating

Download or read book My Hypnotist the Big Roulette Wheel of Internet Dating written by Paulette Q. Yuill and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2004 with total page 274 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book begins in a carnival-type setting, with an exaggerated, cartoonish carnival barker selling tickets to The Big Roulette Wheel of Internet Dating. There was also a sad little clown, selling tickets to the "Second Chance Wheel," in case the first match didn't work out. There were photographers, as well as showgirls to make you as presentable as possible for the pictures. These pictures were sent out over the "Matchwell" dating site. The book then talks about different men I have met over the Internet and dated. I then met the "Hypnotist," and fell madly in love with him. In a very short time, he moved in with me, and very soon after that, we flew to Las Vegas and were married. This man was a psychopath, and a pathological liar. He is the type of man women should recognize when the "red flags" jump up in their faces. They should then run away from him as fast as possible. I didn't. I think I knew what he was, but I was so desperate for someone to love, and who loved me, that I pushed those thoughts to the back of my mind. The book then delves into both of our childhoods, possible reasons I was attracted to him, and begins to identify him for what he was. He lied about so many things. He lied about his Army career, and I write several chapters on the things that he TOLD me had happened. He supposedly learned hypnosis in a very classified dept. of the Army, training "super" soldiers who would have no fear in battle. He lied about his first wife, and he made up children he never had, and told stories about how they were killed. He said he was a member of the NSA, and that he had a doctorate degree (which I later found out he printed himself). I hired an ex-FBI agent to investigate him, and found out he had been abusive in the past, and had been arrested. Everything he said and did were lies, and for only ONE reason. He wanted everything I had. He wanted my house, my money, my retirement, and all of the life I had left in my soul. I gave him so much money, but I refused to sell my house. Then when I threw him out, he put a bomb in my house, and I had to call the ATF. He also put a gun to my face, and was abusive in so many other physical and psychological ways. He said he was coming back to kill me one day, and I don't know if he will or not, but I always look over my shoulder everywhere I go, just in case. Then, I talk about spousal abuse, the why's, etc., and list places for women to get help if they find themselves in a similar situation.

Her entire life was changed as it was determined, after she testified at the trial of one of the shooters, she should enter the Federal Witness Protection Program. For reasons unknown at the time, her husband Harry refused to enter the program with her. She would either not testify or go alone. Clovis had a strong sense of justice and testified. A year later she learns why Harry wouldn't accompany her in what could be the adventure of a lifetime. She was alone for the first time in more than thirty years. A new name, a new town, no friends...only a US Marshal to call on when she thought she would fail as Evelyn Beale. She found a job as an administrative assistant and nearly blundered with her name at the interview. She recovered the near goof and was hired. This book takes Eve, as she prefers to be called, through the first few years of her experiences as someone new. Things happen to her that, in other circumstances, would be taken as “stuff happens”. But as a Witness Protection person these things lead to considerable worry that the people from whom she's being protected may have located her. Book Journey of a Liver Transplant Recipient

Download or read book Journey of a Liver Transplant Recipient written by Christine Jowett and published by FriesenPress. This book was released on 2015-07-23 with total page 298 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is a reality that someone in Canada dies every three days waiting for an organ transplant; for some patients, they are lying in their hospital beds, waiting to be given a second chance at life. Some are fortunate to receive that organ or gift of life, yet for many, they don't survive because the organ they require is either not available or doesn't get there in time. Christine Jowett was only thirteen years old when she became jaundiced, fatigued, and endured bouts of right abdominal pain. Having lived with autoimmune hepatitis for twenty-six years, Christine's disease finally took its toll on her and she ended up in St. Mary's Hospital, where she works as a cardiology nurse. In order to save her life, she was then sent to Toronto General Hospital to wait for a liver transplant, yet, her situation continued to deteriorate as her kidneys were shutting down. Now at forty-one years old, a mother and a wife, it still remains a mystery as to why Christine developed chronic autoimmune hepatitis, a disease that for so long through her life she was able to manage with few medications. Life Goes On is a moving story of her life, which tells of her sickness, facing up to the possibility of losing her family, and the struggle to regain the normality of life after her operation. After the tragic death of an anonymous hero, Christine is given the ultimate gift of life, a healthy organ, on one very special day.
