Orla is a direct human-crystal descendent of the Crystalanders, the Guardians of Eternal Wisdom, responsible for keeping balance in the whole cosmos. In the early days of man’s story, they bestowed Gifts of Creation on the Earth, transforming man’s inherent primal fear with Crystaland Wisdom. After many thousands of years, the primal fear programming resurfaces and once again becomes dominant in man leading to Earth’s spiral of degeneration. Orla’s destiny is to re-awaken Crystaland Wisdom in man’s cellular memory and transform the hatred and conflict in the hearts and minds of mankind. To equip her with the necessary tools and knowledge, she has to undergo an immersion into the unique qualities of Wisdom held in the seven worlds of Crystaland and fully experience the original Gifts of Creation given to Earth. The final part of her initiation is to witness a complete overview of man’s legacy of destruction under the tyranny of fear-based leadership. At the end of her initiation, she returns to Crystal Island fully prepared to embark on the next stage of the planet’s transformation…

Book Intertidal History in Island Southeast Asia

Download or read book Intertidal History in Island Southeast Asia written by Jennifer L. Gaynor and published by Cornell University Press. This book was released on 2016-06-15 with total page 242 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Intertidal History in Island Southeast Asia shows the vital part maritime Southeast Asians played in struggles against domination of the seventeenth-century spice trade by local and European rivals. Looking beyond the narrative of competing mercantile empires, it draws on European and Southeast Asian sources to illustrate Sama sea people's alliances and intermarriage with the sultanate of Makassar and the Bugis realm of Boné. Contrasting with later portrayals of the Sama as stateless pirates and sea gypsies, this history of shifting political and interethnic ties among the people of Sulawesi’s littorals and its land-based realms, along with their shared interests on distant coasts, exemplifies how regional maritime dynamics interacted with social and political worlds above the high-water mark.

Book Ivan Stranski The Grandmaster Of Crystal Growth

Download or read book Ivan Stranski The Grandmaster Of Crystal Growth written by Markov Ivan Vesselinov and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2018-10-26 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Who is Ivan Stranski, you ask? If you Google his name you will find thousands of sites that talk about him. In fact, the Kossel-Stranski model of crystal growth and the Stranski-Krastanov mode of growth of thin epitaxial films are named after him — just two of the many scientific ideas and concepts Professor Stranski introduced to science (and through which a whole new field in science was born). Today thousands of physicists, chemists and materials scientists all over the world are working in the field of crystal growth, particularly in epitaxial growth and nucleation which are necessary for the invention of new materials and high technologies. In this respect, the life, personality and way of thinking of this remarkable scientist should be of great interest to both beginners and professionals in science. This book describes the life and scientific achievements of Ivan Stranski, Bulgarian-German physical chemist and the father of crystal growth, against the historical backdrop of wars, massacres, and remarkable scientific discoveries in the 20th century. It covers his family roots, which are remarkable in their own right, his life and career both in Bulgaria and Germany (West Berlin), and his scientific achievements, including his most important contribution to the physics of crystal growth. The book captures Professor Stranski's personality and way of thinking as much as possible from the recollections of his disciples and contemporaries. Short biographical notes about his most renowned students in Bulgaria, Rostislaw Kaischew and Lyubomir Krastanov, with whom Stranski developed his most fundamental ideas are also included.

Book Nebraska Sweet Beets A History of Sugar Valley

Download or read book Nebraska Sweet Beets A History of Sugar Valley written by Lawrence Gibbs and published by Arcadia Publishing. This book was released on 2020 with total page 192 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sugar beets are as tenaciously rooted in Nebraska's history as they are in its soil, especially in a seventy-mile stretch of the North Platte Valley that extended into eastern Wyoming. The state's first processing facility opened in Grand Island in 1890, boasting the largest mill in the world. The height of the beet boom occurred in the early part of the twentieth century as Wyobraskan towns courted factory locations as feverishly as rival sugar companies competed for territory, and an irrigation network turned the region into America's Valley of the Nile. Some rail lines have disappeared from the map, while catastrophes like the Scottsbluff and Bayard sugar bin explosions and the Gering Molasses spill will never be forgotten. From neglected beet dumps and abandoned rail spurs to silos ready for future harvests, explore Sugar Valley's heritage with Lawrence Gibbs.

Book Introduction to New Caledonia

Download or read book Introduction to New Caledonia written by Gilad James, PhD and published by Gilad James Mystery School. This book was released on with total page 114 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: New Caledonia is a French territory located in the South Pacific Ocean. It consists of a main island, known as Grande Terre, and several smaller islands. The population of New Caledonia is around 280,000, with the majority of the population living in the capital city of Noumea on Grande Terre. The official language is French, but the indigenous Kanak people also speak several indigenous languages. The economy of New Caledonia is largely dependent on the mining industry, specifically nickel production, which accounts for around 80% of the country’s export revenue. Tourism is also important, with visitors attracted to the country’s beautiful beaches, coral reefs, and unique cultural heritage. New Caledonia has a complex cultural and political history. It was originally inhabited by the Kanak people, who had their own distinct cultures and languages. The territory was then colonized by the French in the 19th century and used as a penal colony. In the 20th century, the decolonization movement led to a rise in Kanak nationalism and demands for independence. This resulted in a period of violence and conflict, known as the “Events” of the 1980s, which eventually led to the signing of the Noumea Accord in 1998. The accord provided for a gradual transfer of power from France to New Caledonia, with a referendum on independence planned for 2021. The political situation in New Caledonia remains contentious, with sharp divisions between those who support independence and those who wish to maintain ties with France.
