I write about what I have experienced, what I've seen, my beliefs in life, my trials, my tribulations, and a message in some cases, to those who will listen. Most of my poems are true stories, true events, true feelings. I have seen some dark days. I have seen the very gates to hell. I have been through events that could break a person down mentally. But as with any experience that you survive, strength is always the end result. I have always believed in justified living. Living life knowing that the sands of time will eventually diminish. Life is poetry. Every line, every word has a meaning that adds to the beauty of the work. Live it justified. Live your life with a purpose and reason. Everything you do in life will affect you and others around you whether you believe it or not. I hope in some way this book touches your life and helps you understand what I mean by "Live life Justified". I hope that it gives you inspiration and clarity to the turbulence within your experience by seeing what I have gone through. Most of all I hope you enjoy the vision and the spirit behind each one of my poems.

There have been four single-authored book length treatments of issues of virtue epistemology over the last seven years, beginning with Ernest Sosa's Knowledge in Perspective (Cambridge, 1991), and extending to Linda Zabzebski's Virtue of the Mind (Cambridge, 1996). Weighing in with Jonathan Kvanvig's The Intellectual Virtues and the Life of the Mind (1992), and James Montmarquet's Epistemic Virtue and Doxastic Responsibility (1993), Rowman & Littlefield has had a particularly strong interest in the direction and growth of the field. To date, there has been no collection of articles directly devoted to the growing debate over the possibility and potential of a virtue epistemology. This volume exists in the belief that there is now a timely opportunity to gather together the best contributions of the influential authors working in this growing area of epistemological research, and to create a collection of essays as a useful course text and research source. Several of the articles included in the volume are previously unpublished. Several essays discuss the range and general approach of virtue theory in comparison with other general accounts. Another chapter discusses the importance of family to the character of Mags Bennett and how that guides her actions and sense of duty. Another topic of discussion is whether the end justifies the means when Boyd and his gang destroy a meth lab and end up killing one of the meth cookers. Other chapters delve into a variety of fascinating philosophical themes that emerge in this modern-day cowboy show.

This year, the program consisted of 14 oral sessions, one poster session, 7 special tracks, and 6 keynote presentations. The response to the call for papers was very good; we received over 300 submissions for the main symposium from which we accepted 93 papers for oral presentation and 73 papers for poster p- sentation. Special track papers were solicited separately through the Organizing and Program Committees of each track. A total of 44 papers were accepted for oral presentation and 6 papers for poster presentation in the special tracks.
