Download or read book Economic Collapse Survival Guide written by Ronald Williams and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2017-06-20 with total page 44 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If the United States economy ever does collapse, no one will be able to predict it and it will happen very quickly. Imminent collapses are very hard to detect and the collapse of our economy will be no different. All of us should remember 2008, where the U.S economy was on the very brink of collapse when investors withdrew billions of dollars from market accounts. Had those withdrawals gone on any further, things would have been even worse. If the United States economy ever does collapse, you will no longer have access to your credit. The grocery stores will run out of food. The supply lines of basic necessities will come to a screeching halt. The banks will shut down. People will panic. Utilities such as electricity and water will no longer even be available. No longer will we conduct business with cash. Rather, we will have to barter and trade everyday valuable items with others to get what we need. What's more, is that a collapse of the American economy would cause a panic across the globe. Global demand for the dollar will fall rapidly. Investors will turn to other types of currency. Interest rates will skyrocket and the dollar will become practically worthless due to hyperinflation. An entire pile of money won't even be able to buy you a single loaf of bread. In this guide, we are going to discuss how to prepare for the economic collapse and what to do when the collapse happens. Specifically, we are going to cover the following subjects in detail: -Why Will The Economy Collapse? -What Will Happen When The Economy Collapses? -How To Prepare For An Economic Collapse Now -Items You Need When The Economy Collapses -Bartering and Trading In A Post-Economic Collapse World -Final Tips By the end of this book, you will know why you need to prepare for the economic collapse, how to prepare for it, and what you need to do to survive and thrive when the collapse comes. The overwhelming majority of people in our country are not prepared for an economic collapse at all, so by reading this book and applying what you learn, you will be more prepared than virtually everyone else around you.

Book Inflation Proof Your Portfolio

Download or read book Inflation Proof Your Portfolio written by David Voda and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2012-07-30 with total page 131 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The must-have guide on how to protect yourself during the coming age of hyperinflation The Petersen/Pew Commission on Budget Reform recently warned that the national debt was expected to grow from 40 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2009 to 85 percent in 8 years, 100 percent in 12 years, and 200 percent by 2038. In other words, in just a few years the U.S. will owe twice as much as it produces. Since no conceivable level of taxes and borrowing will enable the country to service such an enormous debt, it is inevitable that government will turn to the same tricks its antecedents have been playing since Ancient Rome: debasing the dollar and letting inflation run rampant. Inflation-Proof Your Portfolio: Protect Your Money from the Coming Government Hyperinflation is your guide to understanding the debt crisis and rising inflation, packed with the key tools you need to protect yourself from the fallout. Neither an economic treatise nor a collection of specific investment advice, the book is intended as a resource to help empower citizens to take action to protect their money from the coming government-induced hyperinflation Essential reading for individual investors and general business readers alike who want to keep their money safe when inflation sets in A runaway self-publishing hit, this new edition is fully revised and updated Get the information you need to formulate your own plan of action to protect your investments The U.S. dollar is almost certain to have a sustained run of extremely high inflation over the next decade because of continued huge government deficits and unfunded liabilities, and this book is the resource you need to be ready.

Book Peak Oil and the Second Great Depression 2010 2030

Download or read book Peak Oil and the Second Great Depression 2010 2030 written by Kenneth D. Worth and published by . This book was released on 2010-06 with total page 90 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Peak Oil is the point of maximum global oil production. In Peak Oil and the Second Great Depression (2010-2030), the author argues that the likely peak in global oil production occurred in the period 2005-2008, due to the peaking of Saudi Arabian oil production during that time. The evidence of a peak in Saudi crude oil production in 2008 is presented and discussed in some detail. The most significant piece of evidence of a Saudi peak in production in 2008 was the inability of Saudi oil ministers to increase production in the period 2005 to 2008 despite record crude oil prices and the drilling of thousands of new wells in Saudi Arabia's seven major oil fields. Because it could not increase production in the face of rising global demand, Saudi Arabia was unable to prevent a spike in the price of oil to around $150 a barrel. A dramatic economic contraction in the developed economies ensued. In the years ahead, it is argued, continued economic growth in the developing world including China will put upward pressure on the price of oil, which will create severe economic difficulties for the indebted developed economies such as the US which rely on imported energy. The book examines the likely policy responses of American statesmen and central bankers to the economic difficulties created by very high prices for petroleum. Oil at very high and indeed painful prices in the face of already historic levels of personal and governmental indebtedness, it is argued, will create large scale unemployment on levels not seen since the (First) Great Depression as expenditures for foreign oil dramatically reduce spending available for the domestic economy. The author argues that the policy response to the economic difficulties will be to create a general rise in the price level to reduce the burden of the existing debt on households, businesses and governmental entities. As prices, and especially wages, rise, domestic spending will recover and unemployment will be reduced, although this process could take several decades. Very significant inflation will likely be necessary to prevent an even more severe drop in employment and output in the economy than that we are already experiencing given the magnitude of the shock to the economy created by continued declines in global oil production. The inflation thus created, as well as the other dramatic changes in the economy as a result of Peak Oil, will alter the approach that would optimally be taken by investors and those wishing to preserve savings. The issues of asset allocation and sector weighting are explored together with alternative investments in commodities and real estate. The focus is primarily on domestic equities, but a rather unusual sector weighting strategy is proposed as most likely to produce positive results during two decades that will otherwise be most disappointing for the investing public. Peak Oil will also create opportunities for speculation which are explored in the final chapters of the book.

Book Conquer the Crash

Download or read book Conquer the Crash written by Robert R. Prechter, Jr. and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2009-11-20 with total page 481 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Today's financial and economic tribulations were a long time in the making. Many people ask, "Why didn't someone see it coming?" A New York Times bestselling book did see it coming. Over 100,000 people read it in time to protect their wealth. The book foresaw and explained the collapse in home prices, plunge in stocks, subprime debacle, liquidity crisis, the demise of Fannie and Freddie, the Federal Reserve's failure to turn the trend, and lots more. The book was Robert Prechter?s Conquer the Crash, published in early 2002, when the Dow was above 10,000 and the financial world was partying around-the-clock. Fast forward to today: the average U.S. homeowner has suffered a decline of 30% to 40% in property value. Stocks and commodities had their biggest fall since 1929-1932. Fannie Mae is a zombie corporation under the government?s protection. The Fed has pushed every button at its disposal (and then some), to no avail. If Prechter thought a whole new book would help, he'd have written one. But Conquer the Crash is a book-length forecast that's still coming true -- only some of the future has caught up with the specific predictions he published back then. There is much more to come. That means more danger, but also great opportunity. Conquer the Crash, 2nd edition offers you 188 new pages of vital information (480 pages total) plus all the original forecasts and recommendations that make the book more compelling and relevant than the day it published. In every disaster, only a very few people prepare themselves beforehand. Think about investor enthusiasm in 2005-2008, and you'll realize it's true. Even fewer people will be ready for the soon-approaching, next leg down of the unfolding depression. In this 2nd edition, Prechter gives a warning he's never had to include in 30 years of publishing -- namely, that the doors to financial safety are closing all over the world. In other words, prudent people need to act while they can. Conquer the Crash, 2nd Edition readers will receive exclusive online access to the Conquer the Crash Readers Page, where Prechter continually updates the book's recommended services and institutions.
