This change of viewpoint, it becomes evident, is a very radical one. Methods of dealing with children will vary greatly according to the standpoint from which the child is viewed, whether, as has been largely the case in the past, chiefly from the standpoint of the adult, or Whether attention is primarily given to its own laws of physical and mental development.
