Zandrax still had two demons he had dredged up from the DeepGrogan, the shape-changer and the siren, Whoron. They discovered the mischief when dragon riders were killed. Killing a rider killed a dragon. How could dragon riders stop Zandrax from hiring disgruntled southern soldiers to kill riders?
