Book The Heaven Test in Rwanda in 1994

Download or read book The Heaven Test in Rwanda in 1994 written by Germain Muhirwa and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2020-10-23 with total page 970 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “For where two or more people are gathered together in my name; there am I in the middle of them: Matthew 18:20”. The 1994 Tutsis extermination developed over time and revealed how evil human beings can be! Rwanda was said to be like a “full glass of water if added even a drop would overthrow!” The exiled Tutsis were denied to return back home. The internal Tutsis were totally marginalized and taken on hostage by the majority Hutus. “Lord Almighty God allowed the October 1st, 1990 big war by the exiled Tutsis to defeat Satan as Rwanda had become sinful: Romans 3: 10-18.” The extremists Hutus sacrificed innocent Hutus with lies about the 1990 big war, which made the internal Tutsis the target for extermination as the exiled Tutsis chose Kigali as a destination! Only one motive was enough for Hutus to start Bagosora’ Apocalypse against Tutsis! The special killers known as “Interahamwe” and “Impuzamugambi were very well prepared and ready for the green light. The unexpected Habyarimana airplane crash on April 6th, 1994 became that motive, in which scenario nobody had ever imagined as Habyarimana used to call himself: “Ikinani” or “the invincible” as he was protected by France. This caused Hutus to prematurely put into action their “long-term” dream of Tutsis extermination from Rwanda. Over one million Tutsis, along with some thousands of Hutus of good hearts, got slaughtered to death just in a matter of 100 days! The killings spread rapidly due to hatred Hutus media such as the Kangura newspaper and the RTLM radio in which the Hutus were called on a daily basis to exterminate all the Tutsis from Rwanda. In 1982, the Blessed Virgin Mary openly warned Rwandans about all of these during her apparition, but Rwandans chose not to listen! The Hutus killed any Tutsi they could find; it was the who killed most Tutsis marathon or what I call the Tutsis killings “full-time job” during those 100 days! Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thirteen years before the bloody 1994 genocide that swept across Rwanda and left more than a million people dead, the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ appeared to eight young people in the remote village of Kibeho. Through these visionaries, Mary and Jesus warned of the looming holocaust, which they assured could be averted if Rwandans opened their hearts to God and embraced His love. Much like what happened at similar sites such as Fátima and Lourdes, the messengers of Kibeho were at first mocked and disbelieved. But as miracle after miracle occurred in the tiny village, tens of thousands of Rwandans journeyed to Kibeho to behold the apparitions. For years, countless onlookers watched as the Mother and Son of God spoke through the eight seers about God’s love, sending messages that they insisted were meant not only for Rwandans, but for the entire world, to hear. Mary also sent messages to government and church leaders to instruct them how to end the ethnic hatred simmering in their country. She warned them that Rwanda would become “a river of blood” —a land of unspeakable carnage —if the hatred of the people was not quickly quelled by love. Some leaders listened, but very few believed: the prophetic and apocalyptic warnings tragically came true during 100 horrifying days of savage bloodletting and mass murder. After the genocide, and two decades of rigorous investigation, Our Lady of Kibeho became the first and only Vatican-approved Marian (that is, related to the Virgin Mary) site in all of Africa. But the story still remains largely unknown. Now, Immaculée Ilibagiza plans to change all that. She made many pilgrimages to Kibeho both before and after the holocaust, personally witnessed true miracles, and spoke with a number of the visionaries themselves. What she’s discovered will deeply touch your heart.

Book To Save Heaven and Earth

Download or read book To Save Heaven and Earth written by Jennie E. Burnet and published by Cornell University Press. This book was released on 2023-01-15 with total page 310 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In To Save Heaven and Earth, Jennie E. Burnet considers people who risked their lives in the 1994 Rwandan genocide of Tutsi to try and save those targeted for killing. Many genocide perpetrators were not motivated by political ideology, ethnic hatred, or prejudice. By shifting away from these classic typologies of genocide studies and focusing instead on hundreds of thousands of discrete acts that unfold over time, Burnet highlights the ways that complex decisions and behaviors emerge in the social, political, and economic processes that constitute a genocide. To Save Heaven and Earth explores external factors, such as geography, local power dynamics, and genocide timelines, as well as the internal states of mind and motivations of those who effected rescues. Framed within the interdisciplinary scholarship of genocide studies and rooted in cultural anthropology methodologies, this book presents stories of heroism and of the good done amid the evil of a genocide that nearly annihilated Rwandan Tutsi and decimated the Hutu and Twa who were opposed to the slaughter.

Book excerpt: “If there is one book you should read on the Rwandan Genocide, this is it. Tested to the Limit—A Genocide Survivor’s Story of Pain, Resilience, and Hope is a riveting and courageous account from the perspective of a fourteen year- old girl. It’s a powerful story you will never forget.” —Francine LeFrak, founder of Same Sky and award-winning producer “That someone who survived such a horrific, life-altering experience as the Rwandan genocide could find the courage to share her story truly amazes me. But even more incredible is that Consolee Nishimwe refused to let the inhumane acts she suffered strip away her humanity, zest for life and positive outlook for a better future. After reading Tested to the Limit, I am in awe of the unyielding strength and resilience of the human spirit to overcome against all odds.” —Kate Ferguson, senior editor, POZ magazine “Consolee Nishimwe’s story of resilience, perseverance, and grace after surviving genocide, rape, and torture is a testament to the transformative power of unyielding faith and a commitment to love. Her inspiring narrative about compassionate courage and honest revelations about her spiritual path in the face of unthinkable adversity remind us that hope is eternal, and miracles happen every day.” —Jamia Wilson, vice president of programs, Women’s Media Center, New York

Book A 1000 Sayings to Heal Your Soul

Download or read book A 1000 Sayings to Heal Your Soul written by Germain Muhirwa and published by . This book was released on 2020-11-08 with total page 352 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I never believed in Salvation before it happened to me, but the Faith was there!Everything started with my daughter Ineza Elsa-Micah Kjær MUHIRWA, when I was missing her so badly, as I had left them in Denmark and came to Canada in December 2012. Just 6 months later without seeing her, or her Mama; my lovely wife... I was in my room alone drinking my beers and smoking as usual back then, and knowing how desperately it was to miss my daughter, and wife I then decided to do something that even though she would grow up and learn about how we were separated each other for over 4 years she wouldn't feel hurt.An idea to create a foundation came into my mind, just in the beginning as a small project that would help 1 or 2 students a month especially in Africa, and from other parts of the world. I was very confident that I could make that happen for her since I had a good job, but still, as I was living a double life, meaning paying the bills here and still send them money for her school and survival, etc... I turned to The Lord Almighty God and asked him how I would sponsor that project and yet stillmake my daughter proud when she would be 10, 14 or 18.Good things and miracles happen to you as you plan to do good to others! The foundation was a website, where a daily Biblical Verse could appear, and in the beginning, I thought that it would be my website, but instead, the Lord meant to share THEWORD on Facebook; I was becoming a preacher without knowing! I have been sharing THEWORD of God since 2016; which generated this book that you are reading now; isn't our God amazing? Now, the mission of The Most High was understood, and the next question that I did ask the Lord was: "How Am I going to sponsor this project? Lord, you know what I am going through and yet you put another burden on the top of me?"Immediately, The Lord Almighty God told me: "Write a Book." Write a book I asked the Lord, and God emphasized that, which removed my doubts. I understood that it was indeed from God for I had seen what God had done for me in the near past, which I had witnessed with my own eyes from Denmark through America to Canada!Walking with the Lord as we read from the Scriptures.I got ready and excited to write the book, and the Lord guided me with all I could write about and all sorts of things that the book needed to be ready for publication. The Lord was with me all the way long. The book's title is: "The Heaven Test in Rwanda in 1994." and is available on Amazon now, thanks to my Lord! All Praises, Thanks, and Glory belong to you only and alone my Lord, Amen* I kept being so faithful not only to The Lord Almighty God, but to both my daughter and my wife because of the cOVENANT that I had entered in with the Lord God.I kept the faith not only for 6 years as they joined me to Canada in August 2018! That was pure faith; and I remember.I was turning to God daily instead, and I have been saved ever since; no more alcohol or cigarettes in my life. I broke all my addictions by using THEWORD of God that I was reading alone; Hallelujah.Today, I and my wife have not only our wonderful daughter Elsa, but also we have been blessed with a lovely son Edsel "Noble" 22 months now!I listened to God, and I told my wife the good news of my Salvation! Together, the same faith and covenant lead us more and more to living a Godly life.

Book Heritage from Father

Download or read book Heritage from Father written by Hormisdas Ndayishimiye and published by BalboaPress. This book was released on 2014-02-12 with total page 176 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Heritage from Father is a poignant testimony on the suffering from discrimination and the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It is also a testimony of love, compassion and healing after the authors parents, six brothers and sisters were killed in the genocide. In this testimony, the author highlights his awareness of Gods blessings upon him through people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. It is evidence that the awareness reminds him of the values of gratitude and faith instilled by his father from early age. The very values that had healed his father during the persecutions of the Tutsi in the years that preceded the horror of the 1994 genocide. Heritage from Father is also an account of how the saving hand of remembrance kept away from him the pressing need for hatred that had started to overrun him, and how it urged him to life in peace instead, with himself and with the world. This is particularly true in his personal style of forgiving the executioners of his family and relatives, in spite of their refusal to own responsibility.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It's the greatest story never told: that of a boy who met Jesus and dared to ask Him all the questions that have consumed mankind since the dawn of time. His name was Segatashya. He was a shepherd born into a penniless and illiterate pagan family in the most remote region of Rwanda. He never attended school, never saw a bible, and never set foot in a church. Then one summer day in 1982 while the 15-year-old was resting beneath a shade tree, Jesus Christ paid him a visit. Jesus asked the startled young man if he'd be willing to go on a mission to remind mankind how to live a life that leads to heaven. Segatashya accepted the assignment on one condition: that Jesus answer all his questions-and all the questions of those he met on his travels-about faith, religion, the purpose of life, and the nature of heaven and hell. Jesus agreed to the boy's terms, and Segatashya set off on what would become one of the most miraculous journeys in modern history. Although he was often accused of being a charlatan and beaten as a result, Segatashya's innocent heart and powerful spiritual wisdom quickly won over even the most cynical of critics. Soon, this teenage boy who had never learned to read or write was discussing theology with leading biblical scholars and advising pastors and priests of all denominations. He became so famous in Rwanda that the Catholic Church investigated his story. The doctors and psychiatrists who examined Segatashya all agreed that they were witnessing a miracle. His words and simple truths converted thousands of hearts and souls wherever he went. Before his death during the 1994 Rwandan genocide, Segatashya continued his travels and conversations with Jesus for eight years, asking Him what we all want to know: · Why were we created? · Why must we suffer? · Why do bad things happen to good people? · When will the world end? · Is there life after death? · How do we get to Heaven? The answers to these and many other momentous, life-changing questions are revealed in this riveting book, which is the first full account of Segatashya's remarkable life story. Written with grace, passion, and loving humor by Immaculée Ilibagiza, Segatashya's close friend and a survivor of the Rwandan holocaust herself, this truly inspirational work is certain to move you in profound ways. No matter what your faith or religious beliefs, Segatashya's words will bring you comfort and joy, and prepare your heart for this life . . . and for life everlasting.

Nearly two decades later, Immaculée continues to pray the rosary every day and marvels at how she is constantly renewed and richly rewarded by rejoicing in this glorious prayer. It has helped her in every aspect of her life, from literally saving her life to strengthening her faith, easing sorrows, changing heartache into happiness, healing illnesses in herself and others, solving family problems, landing a dream job, finding long-lost friends, and even locating lost keys! She received so many blessings from the rosary, in fact, that she decided to study its history and origins. She soon discovered that it was not just meant for Catholics, but that the Virgin Mary promised a life filled with blessings to everyone from any religion who faithfully recited the rosary daily . . . and this was such wonderful news that she vowed to share it with as many people as she could. In The Rosary: The Prayer That Saved My Life, Immaculée reveals how the rosary’s many blessings can be reaped by each and every one of us. In this moving and uplifting book, the New York Times bestselling author recounts her personal experience of discovering the power and the beauty of the ancient beads—and shows all of us how to enrich our own lives by exploring and embracing the mysteries, secrets, and promises of the prayer that became her "lifeline to heaven."

Book Apparitions of the Madonna at Oliveto Citra

Download or read book Apparitions of the Madonna at Oliveto Citra written by Paolo Apolito and published by Penn State University Press. This book was released on 1998 with total page 288 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "At Oliveto Citra, in the province of Salerno, on May 24, 1985, a group of children said they saw the Madonna. In subsequent weeks, hundreds of persons made similar declarations, beginning an extraordinary phenomenon of collective visions that is not yet over." "In Cielo in Terra: Costruzioni Simboliche di un' Apparizione Mariana (1993), translated for the first time here by William A. Christian Jr., Paolo Apolito completes the inquiry begun in a previous work about "how" the world of apparitions is constructed and considers the problem of "what" constitutes this world. The author shows how the visionary reality is constructed through the interaction of local symbolic creativity, Catholic tradition, ecclesiastical authority, and the charisma of the seers. Apparitions of the Madonna at Oliveto Citra describes the conditions under which people who claimed to be seers gained access to the public and to the media, what local elites intervened to filter this process, what pilgrims brought to the visions, and how the content of the visions converged on the great themes of Marian apocalyptics." --Book Jacket.
