Book The Heart After GodaEUR tm s Heart

Download or read book The Heart After GodaEUR tm s Heart written by Curtis Carr and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2023-01-21 with total page 198 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: King David was a man after God's own heart. Have you ever wondered what God saw in David--or, rather, the characteristics that David exhibited for God to adorn him with this title? David was not perfect or absent of sin but called, appointed, and anointed by God just like every Christian believer. The Heart After God's Heart: Messages from First Samuel details these characteristics along with other relevant and insightful revelations from God's word using the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel. You and I can be Christians after God's own heart and excel in personal growth--even better than David--as we have within us God's Holy Spirit. Build up yourself in God, and advance in your Christian faith with this understanding and other messages. Look at the story of David and Goliath in a new light relevant to your Christian walk today. Discover how the children of Israel are a type and shadow of our Christian life now. God's heart begins with prayer and communion. Every believer should make prayer a lifelong learning experience. Hannah demonstrates how every Christian should be vitally connected to God through prayer. Samuel, the priest and prophet, uses his life to convey how we belong to God wholly and totally. Any believer who gives up his life to Jesus will know the meaning of losing his life to gain the whole world. We have been born again and handed over to his providence. We experience the heart of disobedience through Saul's reign as king and then David's heart of obedience as a shepherd, giant slayer, covenant brother, and anointed king--a man after God's own heart. Their experiences together reveal to us the heart after God's heart. 2

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For anyone who has ever felt like giving up! Walking away seemed like the easiest thing to do at the time, didn't it? This life is just too difficult--how will I ever survive this storm? Surely, this is the one that will cause me to sink! In My Journey through Scripture, Sandra shares deep, heartfelt stories of her journey through sorrow and pain as well as many wonderful testimonies of everyday life and struggles. In the midst of it all, she learned to laugh again, the importance of enjoying the simple things in life and spending time with those close to her. It was in her desperate moments when the enemy tried to destroy her over and over again that she found a way to let out all her emotions. It was through journaling her experiences that she felt a sense of peace and strength to move ahead. It was on the pages and pages of her writings that she wrote out the scriptures that helped her through her most difficult times. Each and every one of us is on a journey, and though each person's journey is different, one thing is for sure: we will all face obstacles along the way. If you've ever found yourself in this situation, be reminded that you are not alone. God is always near, even in the moments when you feel lonely and afraid. Through her stories and testimonies, you will come to realize how vital it is to cling to the Word of God. It is in the most desperate and trying situations you encounter that you will experience God's love, peace, and faithfulness. You do not walk alone. God will always give you his light to guide you on the path ahead.

Book Butterflies Bubbles and Bird Nests

Download or read book Butterflies Bubbles and Bird Nests written by Cynthia Holloway and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2023-11-17 with total page 177 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I believe that God dances around us every day and in all circumstances, even the painful ones. He speaks to His followers in a variety of ways and can be found even in the most ordinary of life. God longs to keep us encouraged and uplifted and often shows His lovingkindness in all sorts of ways, but we have to be looking for Him. We can pretty much see God everywhere if we just really open our eyes. He shows up sometimes in unexpected ways and loves to marvel and surprise us. Butterflies, Bubbles, and Bird Nests is a devotion I wrote on a particularly busy day in my life. The devotion eventually became the title of this book. This book is a result of my journaling of the lovingkindness God has shown me over the years. His lovingkindness is available to all. I hope you will choose to see Him in all things as you read and ponder these seventy-seven devotions. May they encourage your heart and enable you to get to know God more intimately. There is a scripture and prayer at the end of each devotion for further reflection. May you be filled to overflowing as God speaks to your heart.

Book Why This Why Me and Why Now

Download or read book Why This Why Me and Why Now written by Cynthia Finklea and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-01-15 with total page 44 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Do you feel lost and misunderstood? If you do, this book is what you need. Are you seeking hope, a stronger foundation to get you through life's journey? This book will help you through. In the life of David, you will find your path to the top of the mountain God has called, appointed, and anointed just for you. There is a treasure inside of you. Open, read, and see what God has just for you! Question: what are you waiting for? Remember to take small steps in life; do not leap giant steps. If you do, you will jump over someone or something that's key to your survival. If there are giant steps you to take, then let God direct you in taking them. David could have taken giant steps to remove himself away from the forces of Saul against him, but he didn't. In the struggles of life, you need to walk it out. David did not run from Saul because he was fearful even though he had concerns for his safety along the way. This is how life is. We will have concerns. We cannot allow these concerns to cause us to take miss steps along the way, leaping when God has not instructed you to do so. David ran from Saul because he knew he could have easily killed him. David was a skillful man of war. Recognizing his skill and the will of God are two different things. That's why it was important that David faced all the challenges with his feet planted in the Lord who fought his battles. When you do this, you will end up in a place in life where you can walk to your place of victory into the powerful hands of God.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The horrors written are actual events I witnessed and was told to write in this book to warn the church and the world of the coming judgment of God on this generation, which God has held back from allowing to come to mankind! Man has and is planting contrary to God's right law of seedtime and harvest. Man as a whole has been planting seeds of thought, words, and deeds that are insane and against the laws of right-use-ness. God's way is right-use-ness! Any other way is a perverted life and world. The horrible events I was taken to and shown are mankind's harvest to come! As we see a little now, but in the next hundred years, these insane acts will increase! So this book is partly to provoke God's people to awaken and prepare themselves and their families to the world, to turn back to the living God through Jesus Christ as it was in the day of Noah. This is what that angel told me!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Very Good is the direct result of an encounter I had with the Holy Spirit, where he directed me to find everything I believed about God's nature, design, and purpose for humanity in Scripture. The six years I spent studying the Word radically changed my life. During this time I discovered God's very good original plan for man; the effects that Satan's deception has had on mankind as man was separated from the nature and purpose of God, causing them to live as slaves to sin, Satan, and death; how the finished work of Christ restored God's original plan for man, restoring us back into the image and likeness of God so that we can live the abundant life he designed for us and fulfill our divine purpose of revealing God's glory on the earth; and how God intended for us to use our faith to believe and receive every redemptive promise that was already provided for by God's grace. Second Corinthians 1:20 (NLT) says, "For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding 'Yes!' And through Christ, our 'Amen (which means 'Yes') ascends to God for his glory."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Letters to My Grandkids depicts the stories in the book of Genesis. The chapter letters are written in plain English and critiques to help my grandkids and others understand that our forefathers' family problems are still evident in our families today! Family issues are nothing new in the book of Genesis. Family separation in Genesis was prevalent because parents favored one child over another, there was sibling jealousy, greed among family members, and betrayal, which caused divisions in the families. Our world is suffering today because of the same problems that occurred in the book of Genesis. It is a sin to be stuck in anger toward a family member that causes division. The devil loves it! Family separation has become typical in our world. It is a crucial problem with families today. Families do not have to be separated and angry because of unresolved issues. If you say you love the Lord with all your heart and soul but hate your brother, sister, parents, and neighbors, then who do you think you are fooling? Yourselves! God said to love your neighbors, your family, and then yourself last. You will be rewarded. This book will share the stories and life problems in Genesis. God promised Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph that he would care for them and their families because they were faithful and loved unconditionally. And that promise also applies to you if you continue to be faithful like our patriarchs. This book will have you think before you decide to cause family separation. It will help you uncover past hurt and pain. It will humble your heart to forgive the ones that have hurt you!

For example, Abigail, one of David's wives, saved her family because she was thoughtful and hardworking. Uriah, the husband of Bathsheba, lost his life because of his loyalty to the army and his King. People from other nations played an important part in Jewish history because they trusted God and made their home with the Jews. What about New Testament people like Apollos, Barnabas, Cornelius, and some of the lesser known disciples? This book is about many of those people who met God and made a decision for or against Him.

Book Discovering the Love of GodaEUR The Blessings of GodaEUR The Truths of GodaEUR tm s WordaEUR

Download or read book Discovering the Love of GodaEUR The Blessings of GodaEUR The Truths of GodaEUR tm s WordaEUR written by Danny K. Burns and published by Covenant Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-09-16 with total page 123 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Set apart from my mother's womb, called me through His grace, was pleased to reveal His Son to me that I might preach.--Galatians 1:15-16.The story you are about to read is one of how God used a cheap little maiden "claiming" colt to bring honor to Himself. It is also a story of how He revealed Himself to those whose lives were connected to the colt. It is a story of lives touched, prayers answered, and God's saving grace. A reflection of God using this colt to show His awesome presence in the daily life of two trainers, two jockeys, an owner, and myself. (What I was to this colt is still an unknown to me, yet the lessons I learned from this experience were, are, and always will be a blessing to me.)This is a story about a dark bay colt named Pluie's Stock by Pluie's Sylvester and about how God used him to uncover truths about Himself. Pluie is a plain but honest horse. He does not have a valuable pedigree, as you can see from his sire, a son of Verbatim. His breeding fame is linked to his dam, an unaccomplished daughter by Key to the Mint, the winner of the racing's hallowed Eclipse Award, American champion, three-year-old male (1972). Pluie, however, did not yet have racing credentials of significance himself. When he arrived in Texas, Pluie had a 0 for 6 race record, his best effort being a second-place finish going a mile.Racing in Faith is also a story about forgiveness and restoration when two friends, caught off guard from what was supposed to be a blessed event that turned into one of agony. But God, in His loving covenant to His faithful, straightened out the crooked road yielding a partnership between the friends and lifting up the team around Pluie's Stock. God can use the unusual to reveal Himself to His children. Psalm 72:18 reminds us "the God of Israel who alone works wonders." It is a story of how a minute and thirty-nine seconds transformed my life, affirmed God's love of me, and gave me an unending desire to help others know God.As you read of Pluie's races, defeats, and triumphs, you will see God at work. When you read of other's doubts, suspicions, and criticisms of Pluie's care and racing career, you will see how dramatically God intercedes in our daily affairs. This is a simple yet profound story of God, His sovereignty, His majesty, His love, His mercies, His provision, His sufficiency, His blessings, and His desires for each of us.It is my deepest prayer that you will get a glimpse of the magnificence of God as you read Pluie's story. I suspect if you read this story with an open heart, God will manifest Himself to you too.

Download or read book Journey to Faith written by Doug Hammer and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2024-07-19 with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Over forty days and forty nights, Doug brings us alongside him as he relives the extreme highs and lows spiritually as he desperately reaches out to God as he fasts, knowing that this was to be his last chance to change his life around. For years he had tried everything there was to reach out to God and to find favor in His heart, never realizing that the answer was there all along right in front of him in the perfect words of the Holy Bible. Stripped down to literally nothing but a few worldly possessions, broke, divorced, rejected by his daughter, and standing all alone in a world that cared nothing about him, Doug thought that this was as good as it was going to get. He was to be the world's punching bag for all the winners in life and was resigned to the reality that he was to be the loser everyone else would walk on to get what they wanted. Little did he realize that in all the hurt, frustration, and hopelessness, God was forcing him to take the only road left to him--fasting. God's thundering velvet hand was rebuilding him on His terms to be the spiritual warrior that he was always meant to be, and whether Doug liked it or not, God was going to reach into his heart and pull him into a relationship that fifty-seven years of suffering and hurt could never stand up to. God locked onto Doug, and no matter how hard Satan attacked or Doug felt beaten, God was there to pick him up and brush him off like a loving father with an unconditional love only a dad could give to his son. In all of his desperate pleas to God for help, Doug was being held at arm's length by God, until he realized that what his Father in heaven was demanding of him was not perfection but a relationship built on love and faith. God's hand was now locked on to Doug, and as painful as life was in every facet of his being, it was now as clear as the words of the Bible, God had Doug right where He wanted him and there would be no more yesterdays of pain and failure but now a life drawn deep into God's heart, and there's no looking back!
