She earned a degree in computer science in 1996 and is currently pursuing a bacheloras degree in business administration. She is also a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society. In 2002, she was featured in the Best Poems and Poets of 2002, published by the International Library of Poetry. Several of her poems have been published in various anthologies from 2003a2005. In 2005 she was ordained pastor and prophet by her bishop, Carl D. Cook of Louisiana. In November of 2006 she founded Broken Vessel Outreach Ministries International. She currently resides in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, with her husband and is employed as a computer professional.
