Book excerpt: In the year 1380, John Wycliffe started the movement to produce an English version of the Bible. Since then, there has been 1,500 English translation developed. Many were great scholarly works that the author spent much of his or her lifetime developing.Man's ability to express the greatness of the Lord within the confines of natural languages will always be limited. The Lord has gifted great scholars throughout the span of Biblical history with the grace to pull out nuances of the scriptures contained in ancient languages. Each generation seems to be able to produce new translations of the Bible that progress our understanding of the Lord and His desire for humanity.Having reviewed nearly 1,000 Biblical volumes, this book takes the topic of divine healing and presents verses from every book of the Bible from multiple translations to advance the reader's faith for their own healing. The result is verses from 430 translations spanning the years 1534 to 2019. Carefully selected versions of each verse bring clarity and insight to the topic of divine healing in a way not possible from teaching messages alone. Bible translations long lost to time have been brought back to life to help build faith in the doctrine of divine healing and long life.

Book excerpt: The God that you and I serve is a Covenant keeping God. God established His covenant with Abraham (Gen. 17:1-4,7). God told Abraham to walk before him (perfect, blameless) and he would establish his covenant with him and would multiply him exceedingly and make him a Father of many nations. Through the blood of Jesus, you and I have the right to partake of the Abrahamic Covenant. Galatians3:29 says, And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abrahams seed], then you are Abrahams offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise. (Amplified). We are entitled to all of the promises, blessings and benefits of the Abrahamic Covenant. It is a part of our inheritance and it is up to us whether we partake of the covenant. Jesus left nothing undone at the cross. He took care of it all! Jesus bore ? Righteousness for our Spirit ? Peace for our Soul (mind, will and emotions) ? Healing for our body God is not looking for us to pay the price; Jesus already did that. God is looking for us to become aggressive to receive what rightfully belongs to us. God knows we are Heirs of God. Jesus knows we are Heirs of God and joint Heirs with him sharing his inheritance.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Divine Health must be enforced because it is a covenant right and demands a covenant responsibility!Satan the thief comes only to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: But Jesus Christ is ALIVE forever so that you might have life, and have it more abundantly. There is nothing good about the devil or his activities! His mission is evil: he is out to make people poor, and sick and to destroy. To be free from the evil works of the devil requires a violent reaction and it takes the fight of faith by real believers who believe in The Name of Jesus and obey His Love Commandment to put the devil where he belongs. And that's not too cheap a task! Before Jesus came, mankind was subjected to slavery under Satan, sin and sickness due to the fall of Adam. As a result of man's state before Jesus came, it became very necessary for man to be saved, healed and delivered if he must enjoy divine health.God says "I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers."God is wishing that you may prosper and be healthy because it takes serious responsibility to prosper and live in health.Just look around and see! Less than five percent of the world's population are really rich and about 95 percent of the mankind are sick.To be healthy requires divine empowerment and so many are unwilling to pay the price so they are sick. And many are dying sick on a daily basis. Healing MUST be Enforced. Therefore, this book.Jesus said "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it." Divine health can be enforced. This book is written to Enforce Your Covenant of Divine Health. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A call to action: God calls us to unite, but the enemy's tactic is continuous strife. Whose mold are you looking to fit into? If all Christians believe that we are made in God's image, why do we ostracize, shame, persecute, and otherwise hurt our fellow brothers and sisters? Are we not called to do His will? Are we not all God's children? The Apostle Paul tells us in Galatians that, "There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:8). Faithful followers of Jesus Christ are all joined together as one in the body of Christ. Every believer has an interconnection that shares in one Holy Spirit and worships one Lord (see Ephesians 4:3-6). Evil has a way of inserting itself even into our most sacred spaces, seeking to destroy the belief in all that is good and ultimately dividing the Christian church. This can take the form of disparagement between Christians of different denominations and various forms of slander that sadly take place between clergy. Join us as we walk in unison through God's Word, the facts, church history, doctrines, and the belief similarities to call upon the unification of the body of Christ.

Book Healing A Covenant Promise

Download or read book Healing A Covenant Promise written by Donald Dees and published by Healing. This book was released on 2017-07-22 with total page 262 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is my third book on the subject of divine healing and I think by far my best. It is down to earth and easy to understand with plenty of Scriptural references to prove each and every truth it attempts to convey to the reader. Divine healing is a covenant right of every believer; and this book answers many of the questions that people have about why everyone doesn't receive divine healing. It is also in my opinion an excellent teaching manual for ministers to use to teach, motivate, equip and activate their people to begin to heal the sick by the power of God and His Word.

Download or read book More Than a Healer written by Costi W. Hinn and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2021-09-28 with total page 193 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How does healing fit into God's will, especially when God doesn't heal? Our hearts, our bodies, and our world are desperate for healing. We all experience brokenness, and we rightfully look to Jesus for restoration. But many Christians have been taught the lie that God will heal us if our faith is strong enough, and that he is punishing us when bad things happen. Growing up in one of the world's leading faith-healing dynasties, Costi Hinn witnessed the tragedy of people chasing after healing more than the Healer. In this book he provides biblical clarity to some of the most challenging questions of the Christian faith. Does grace guarantee healing? How do we catch ourselves from slipping into the trap of seeking God for what he can do for us and not for who he really is? Beginning with the vivid memory of the night he discovered his son's cancer diagnosis—Costi unpacks the layered feelings and questions we have about God and his healing power, and he provides practical principles for growing closer to Jesus. With gentle clarity and biblical wisdom, he explains how to: Faithfully pray for healing while trusting in God's sovereignty. Navigate tough conversations about the topics of divine healing, love, and justice. Hold on to faith even in the most painful trials. More than chasing after the Jesus we want, this hopeful and encouraging book will guide you to discovering the Jesus we truly need—and the true power and hope that comes from a genuine relationship with him.

Book For the Healing of the Nations

Download or read book For the Healing of the Nations written by Peter Escalante and published by The Davenant Press. This book was released on 2014-11-04 with total page 301 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The doctrine of creation is obviously one of the first things, but it is also one of the last things since the world to come is also, by definition, creation. The simple truth that it is so is incontestable since neither the world to come nor those whose dwelling it is built to be are God. But the way in which this is so is the subject of a long, long debate in Christendom, with the question of whether and in what degree the life to come is continuous with this one. How common is the “thing” in “first thing” and “last thing”? Our answer to this question conditions our answer to many others: the relationship of philosophy to theology, of the church to the saeculum, of the kingdom of Christ to the visible church. This volume brings together the careful investigations of established and emerging historians and theologians, exploring how these questions have been addressed at different points in Christian history, and what they mean for us today. Includes contributions from James Bratt, E.J. Hutchinson, Matthew Tuininga, Andrew Fulford, Laurence O'Donnell, Benjamin Miller, Brian Auten, and Joseph Minich.

Book The Death of the Messiah and the Birth of the New Covenant

Download or read book The Death of the Messiah and the Birth of the New Covenant written by Michael J. Gorman and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2014-06-27 with total page 354 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this groundbreaking book, Michael Gorman asks why there is no theory or model of the atonement called the "new-covenant" model, since this understanding of the atonement is likely the earliest in the Christian tradition, going back to Jesus himself. Gorman argues that most models of the atonement over-emphasize the penultimate purposes of Jesus' death and the "mechanics" of the atonement, rather than its ultimate purpose: to create a transformed, Spirit-filled people of God. The New Testament's various atonement metaphors are part of a remarkably coherent picture of Jesus' death as that which brings about the new covenant (and thus the new community) promised by the prophets, which is also the covenant of peace. Gorman therefore proposes a new model of the atonement that is really not new at all--the new-covenant model. He argues that this is not merely an ancient model in need of rediscovery, but also a more comprehensive, integrated, participatory, communal, and missional model than any of the major models in the tradition. Life in this new covenant, Gorman argues, is a life of communal and individual participation in Jesus' faithful, loving, peacemaking death. Written for both academics and church leaders, this book will challenge all who read it to re-think and re-articulate the meaning of Christ's death for us.
