Book The Gospel of Yah shua and the Acts of the Apostles

Download or read book The Gospel of Yah shua and the Acts of the Apostles written by Stephen R. Marlowe and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-05-07 with total page 323 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THE GOSPEL OF YAH’SHUA {THE ONLY NAME GIVEN UNDER HEAVEN BY WHICH WE MUST BE SAVED} AND THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES {The Nazarean Version} ָיה יה ָis Hebrew for God our Savior’s Name, YAH. For YAH is the name above every name (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV). The name above every name was given to the Son of God, YAH’SHUA (Philippians 2:9). The Gospel of YAH’SHUA and the Acts of the Apostles is the story of the four Gospels of the Savior’s life, as witnessed by the Gospel writers and from their other witnesses. Their witness is combined in this book to enhance all that the Savior did and said as one continuous story. He taught twelve disciples to carry on the work of bringing the Good News (the Gospel) to a wretched world full of sin and woe, and contrary to what some may say, the world is a better place due to the teachings of the Savior, as our only hope is in Him. The Acts of the Apostles is the story of their efforts, and it is here combined with the four Gospel writers’ testimony to create an ongoing storyline, and what a story it is! You will be amazed at the life the Savior given in greater detail by the four Gospels weaved together, which truly enhances the life and events of the Savior of the world, our Messiah. It can honestly be said that this book contains the fullness of the Gospel and may answer questions one has been pondering for a long time. Everything within this book is pure Gospel, as they say, with no additives from other sources, only the Bible. Here presented is the revealed name of the Savior, as there is only one name revealed, YAH’SHUA: Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12) Halleluyah. Praise YAH, praise YAH’SHUA!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Envoy of the Messiah, Stephen Pimentel completes the journey he began in the popular Witnesses of the Messiah. Envoy of the Messiah invites the reader to walk in the footsteps of St. Paul in his mission to the Gentiles, as told in Acts of the Apostles 16-28. Through nine lessons, each including stimulating discussion questions, the reader is challenged to encounter Christ in the early Church and to follow the example of St. Paul in their lives today. Written in accessible language, yet filled with helpful information and scriptural references, this book is perfect for beginners as well as more advanced biblical scholars. Scripture scholar and popular author Steve Ray praises Envoy of the Messiah for its clarity and theological insight: "Stephen Pimentel's book takes you through the recorded travels and teachings of St. Paul as revealed by Luke. He provides interesting insights and theological understanding useful to both the average reader and the scholar. This book is easy to read, yet full of helpful information and Scriptural detail. It is too bad we can't insert most of this book into our Bibles as footnotes." About the Author: Stephen Pimentel is a writer and speaker on Catholic apologetics and Scripture. He is the author of Witnesses of the Messiah: On the Acts of the Apostles 1-15 (Emmaus Road, 2002) and a contributor to Catholic for a Reason III: Scripture and the Mystery of the Mass (Emmaus Road, 2004). He holds a Master of Arts in theology from Christendom College. About the Series: The Kingdom studies explore the teaching and mission of Jesus Christ as revealed in the New Testament and carried on by His Church. Solid, trustworthy content in language anyone can appreciate.

Book excerpt: It is my role to announce the times and to aid those of you interested, willing to listen and to seek it out for yourself that this is the era which all of the prophets and apostles wrote about. We are to recognize the signs and the seasons, called to serve one another in bringing forth the grand awakening as most will be swept away in the strong delusion. We are here for a higher purpose, there is reason unknown to most to the meaning of life and this incarnation. It is that remembrance that I am hoping to bring you to awareness.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Before we can enter into a commentary on the book of Acts, we see that the author Luke is credited with writing the Gospel of Luke and this book of the Acts of the Apostles. Since we now know that Luke did not write the Gospel of Luke, then it follows that he probably did not write the book of Acts. Since none of the original apostles wrote anything and the earliest manuscripts were dated in the middle of the second century, then it follows that the book of Acts was created in the same manner as were the Gospels. To understand this, it is imperative to understand that it was Bishop Papias who collected this information from those who presumably knew the apostles in the previous century. During the last half of the second century, Bishop Papias assembled and presented this information in the four Gospels and the book of Acts and named them accordingly so as to reflect apostolic authority for the writings of these manuscripts. The earliest manuscript to be found dated directly to the time that Bishop Papias was creating these manuscripts during the last half of the second century, and the names of these books were presented as the authors of these books.

The gospel which S. Paul 'preached to the Galatians the first time1' is the same as S. Peter's--a proclamation of the facts of the crucifixion and resurrection. The presentation of the facts is varied; thus mention of the burial is added. There is also an advance in the Christology. Jesus is Saviour (verse 2Sy and King. But beyond this he is the Son of God. And sonship, --of Israel, of the Christ, of the believers, --is the thought which runs throughout. III. The moral is the same--the offer of forgiveness of sins. Only here again there is a new application in the form which has ever since been specially associated with S. Paul, viz. the doctrine of justification by faith. Lastly the apostle concludes with the warning of judgement. 16 And Paul stood up, and beckoning with the hand said, 17 Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, hearken. The God of this people Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they sojourned in the land of Egypt, and with a high 18 arm led he them forth out of it.
