Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fatherless children has unfortunately become the norm in todays society and is deeply embedded in America's culture and family dynamics. This is problematic and is designed to take part of a child's growth and development at the hands of greed, bitterness, hatred and jealousy. Laws have been put in place in an attempt to destroy both fathers and their children by denying them access to each other and placing them both into a system that can have long traumatic effects on them and family. This book will display the importance of fatherhood and expose the biases the US family court system operates by. This book also gives advise to fathers in how they should conduct themselves when being faced with contention and also offers solutions when faced with adversity. This book will help fathers who are experiencing difficulties trying to be a father while being attacked by bitter and vindictive women and the US family court system. This book is written with the intentions to expose the inequalities and biases that exist, also to bring about change that will strengthen family relations which will improve the quality of children's lives.

Book Bound Together

Download or read book Bound Together written by Chris Brauns and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2013-03-05 with total page 209 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are not just isolated individuals. Instead, our lives are woven together with others. We have solidarity with other people—the choices one person makes affects the lives of others, for good and for bad. Because much of the pain we endure in life is in the context of relationships, this truth often strikes us as unfair. Why should a child suffer because of the choices of his parents? And on a grander scale, why do we all suffer the curse of Adam’s sin? Why should anyone be judged for someone else’s sin? In Bound Together, Chris Brauns unpacks the truth that we are bound to one another and to the whole of creation. He calls this, “the principle of the rope.” Grasping this foundational principle sheds new light on marriage, the dynamics of family relationships, and the reason why everyone lives with the consequences of the sins that others commit. Brauns shows how the principle of the rope is both bad news and good news, revealing a depth to the message of the gospel that many of us have never seen before.

Book Visual Theology

    Book Details:
  • Author : Tim Challies
  • Publisher :
  • Release : 2016
  • ISBN : 9780310520436
  • Pages : 0 pages

Download or read book Visual Theology written by Tim Challies and published by . This book was released on 2016 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We live in a visual culture. Today, people increasingly rely upon visuals to help them understand new and difficult concepts. The rise and stunning popularity of the Internet infographic has given us a new way in which to convey data, concepts and ideas. But the visual portrayal of truth is not a novel idea. Indeed, God himself used visuals to teach truth to his people. The tabernacle of the Old Testament was a visual representation of man's distance from God and God's condescension to his people. Each part of the tabernacle was meant to display something of man's treason against God and God's kind response. Likewise, the sacraments of the New Testament are visual representations of man's sin and God's response. Even the cross was both reality and a visual demonstration. As teachers and lovers of sound theology, Challies and Byers have a deep desire to convey the concepts and principles of systematic theology in a fresh, beautiful and informative way. In this book, they have made the deepest truths of the Bible accessible in a way that can be seen and understood by a visual generation.
