Migrant farm workers were confined to the less than adequate living quarters provided by farmers and landowners, and were forced to deal with hardships such as floods, famine, and suffering through the pain and frustration. In retrospect it would seem that this would be the life of someone who lived hundreds of years ago, but in reality it has not been that long. As unbelievable as some of this may sound, it is never the less true.
