Book excerpt: The Truth is the award-winning first book in The Oracle Institute foundational trilogy. It presents a summary of the divine messages sent to us by God through the Prophets. When studied successively, these spiritual lessons form a "Tower of Truth" that should not be broken or interpreted along sectarian lines. Instead, these Truths should be assimilated into a contemporary spiritual and scientific database and shared by everyone, regardless of religious affiliation. The Truth explores the five primary religions that evolved after the Prophets died: Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam, to determine whether these manmade religions have remained faithful to the Truth, including the primordial Truth that God is half masculine and half feminine energy. The Truth reveals that mankind has built a "Tower of Babel" with God's messages. Moreover, these now ancient religions have polarized humanity and brought us to the brink of World War III. Download or read book The Arc of Truth written by Lewis V. Baldwin and published by Fortress Press. This book was released on 2022-10-04 with total page 411 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Martin Luther King Jr. said and wrote as much or more about the meaning, nature, and power of truth as any other prominent figure in the 1950s and '60s. King was not only vastly influential as an advocate for and defender of truth; he also did more than anyone in his time to organize truth into a movement for the liberation, uplift, and empowerment of humanity, efforts that ultimately resulted in the loss of his life. Drawing on King's published and unpublished sermons, speeches, and writings, The Arc of Truth explores King's lifelong pilgrimage in pursuit of truth. Lewis Baldwin explores King's quest for truth from his inquisitive childhood to the influence of family and church, to Morehouse College, Crozer Theological Seminary, Boston University, and other academic institutions in the Northeast. Continuing on, the book follows King's sense that he was involved in experiments of truth within the context of the struggle to liberate and empower humanity, to his understanding of the civil rights movement as unfolding truth, to his persistent challenge to America around its need to engage in a serious reckoning with truth regarding its history and heritage. Baldwin investigates King's determination to speak truth to power, and his untiring efforts to actualize what he envisioned as the truthful ends of the beloved community through the truthful means of nonviolent direct action. King believed, taught, and demonstrated by example that truth derives from a revolution in the heart, mind, and soul before it can be translated into institutions and structures that guarantee freedom, justice, human dignity, equality of opportunity, and peace. Ultimately, King's significance for humanity cannot be considered only his contributions as a preacher, pastor, civil rights leader, and world figure--he was and remains equally impactful as a theologian, philosopher, and ethicist whose life and thought evince an enduring search for and commitment to truth.

Book Tithingism

    Book Details:
  • Author : Thomas Moore
  • Publisher : AuthorHouse
  • Release : 2021-05-25
  • ISBN : 1665526491
  • Pages : 123 pages

Download or read book Tithingism written by Thomas Moore and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2021-05-25 with total page 123 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book has been in the making for 50 years; ever since Thomas Moore found a germ within the tithing doctrine that departed from the Living God. Thomas set out in 1973 to expose where this germ corrupts the basic doctrines of the New Testament, but in so doing he found that he needed to acquire a full understanding of all the primary Christian doctrines. This required reading the entire Bible from cover to cover many times in different translations, as well as compiling an extensive theology library. Years were spent reading entire commentaries, word studies, and systematic theology by various scholars, along with sermons and lessons from the greatest preachers of all time. In 2015 the author finished following the tithing germ through every school of theology and discovered the specific truths of Scripture being violated. In 2015 he began writing the book to refute each false teaching that supports the false doctrine of tithing and expose all of its fallacies, heresies and blasphemies, which was published in November of 2019 as Living Waters from Difficult Passages. The book is very thorough. It not only exposes the heresies and blasphemies, but also contains the popular verses of Scripture that pastor’s abuse, in order to support the tithing practice. This made the book almost 500 pages long. Many people are not interested in a book that large, so the author developed this book as a companion book, which is a quick and easy read; just covering the basic blasphemies of the religious tithing teaching. If reading TITHINGISM peaks your interest for more insights and Biblical evidence into the false teachings of the tithing tradition, then Living Waters from Difficult Passages will satisfy completely.
