The practical effect of the latest revisions in the farm population is to add back in a considerable number >f people who are not primarily dependent on agriculture for a livelihood; and she income they receive from nonagricultural sources has had to be taken into account. Since both the farm population and their total income are revised upward, estimates of per capita income of persons on farms from all sources are-not greatly hanged. However, some of the other series given in table 5, notably those on zer capita income of persons on farms from agricultural sources alone, are more significantly affected.
