Book excerpt: Joseph Emmet Callier (1889-1975) was the son of Ruben Dell Callier (1858-1898) and Mary Leona Gagnepain (1853-1943) of Highland, Missouri. He married Agnes Conrad Dina Blechle, the daughter of Louis Blechle and Caroline Ponder of Perryville, Missouri in 1915. They were the parents of seven children. He was the descendant of families who emigrated from Villeneuve, France. Six generations of ancestors and three generations of descendants are given.
