He served in the Revolutionary War, and by 1783 had moved to land near Fort Henry, Virginia. Later they moved to Maryland and then to Marietta, Ohio. Isaac Cline (1806-1884), a grandson, married Elizabeth Bever in 1828 in Monroe County, Ohio. Descendants and relatives of George lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, California and elsewhere.
