Book excerpt: 500 years ago, Luther and the Reformers changed the Bible. Why? What had the Roman Catholic Church done to spur these people to upend a millennium of "holy tradition" and make changes to what the Church had originally wrought? Just how truthful was the early Catholic Church in assembling its Bible canon of Scripture? Was the Church truly following God or merely what was in vogue for Rome? After a lifetime of study within the Christian Church, Keith Michael takes you on a deep dive into the forces surrounding the formation of the early Church's Bible, unearthing centuries of Christian myth and subterfuge, layer by layer. But to what end? Is the modern Christian Church approaching the precipice of a new and powerful Second Reformation-one that will challenge even what the Protestant Reformers themselves failed to realize? What is it that the Church continues to hide about the Bible that needs to change so that we can advance into a New Light and a deeper understanding of GOD? Are we as Christians still saddled with the Catholic Church's early failings in assembling a Bible that was truthful of Jesus and his Apostles? Or did the early Church in Rome merely become self-serving? A group of Pagan believers who had no problem dismissing the true teachings of the Jewish Jesus in favor of their own-FALSE WITNESS.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A cancer is metastasizing within Christianity, and the traditionalists in our faith are nourishing its malignancy. The works of these disciples of deception began more than fifteen hundred years ago, and you know them not. To this day, the cancer lives. However, the misdeeds of the traditionalists, when uncovered, shine light upon the bearing of false witness. Our Creator has granted us tools, tools that can guide our works of interpretation. Many in our faith, however, ignore them. The answers to these questions will challenge the teachings in our faith.* Will our Creator burn the nonbelievers in hell?* Will only the selected few live in His kingdom?* Christianity hinges on the interpretation of Malachi 4:5 and Matthew 11:14. Did the Creator regenerate the spirit of Elijah in the body of John the Baptist?* Did He grant us one lifetime and one opportunity to overcome the weaknesses of the flesh?* Did Jesus Christ die on the cross for us?* Did He narrow the definition of regeneration, a word that appears twice within the Scriptures?* Is the practice of communion remembrance of Jesus Christ or a ritual with a history soaked in barbarism?* What was the sacrifice?Faith without reason misdirects us into a body of irrationality that can't withstand the scrutiny of the tools of interpretation. However, the glory and power of the four tools can extract truth from our Sacred Text. Through their use, we develop interpretations; we find meaning. We must excommunicate the dogmas. A literalism of convenience cannot supply interpretations of the Scriptures with a consistency that promotes spirituality. Only the tools can clear away the falsehoods now plaguing Christianity. Read any verse of the Bible, shine the light of the tools upon it. God will reveal meaning. In summary, however, our Creator did not leave us at the mercy of the commandments of men. He provided tools that can extract meaning from His Words. Christianity must again search its soul and reconfigure its teachings to find the spirituality that God intended. Understanding the tools can pave the way.

Book The Institutes of Biblical Law Vol 1

Download or read book The Institutes of Biblical Law Vol 1 written by R. J. Rushdoony and published by Chalcedon Foundation. This book was released on 2009-11-16 with total page 779 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To attempt to study Scripture without studying its law is to deny it. To attempt to understand Western civilization apart from the impact of Biblical law within it and upon it is to seek a fictitious history and to reject twenty centuries and their progress. The Institutes of Biblical Law has as its purpose a reversal of the present trend. it is called "Institutes" in the older meaning of the that word, i.e., fundamental principles, here of law, because it is intended as a beginning, as an instituting consideration of that law which must govern society, and which shall govern society under God. To understand Biblical law, it is necessary to understand also certain basic characteristics of that law. In it, certain broad premises or principles are declared. These are declarations of basic law. The Ten Commandments give us such declarations. A second characteristics of Biblical law, is that the major portion of the law is case law, i.e., the illustration of the basic principle in terms of specific cases. These specific cases are often illustrations of the extent of the application of the law; that is, by citing a minimal type of case, the necessary jurisdictions of the law are revealed. The law, then, asserts principles and cites cases to develop the implications of those principles, with is purpose and direction the restitution of God's order.
