Or will his life be love coated with perseverance and guide him back to Caroline, his one true love? How is grandmother Amanda going to convince her grandson that life is a journey in which one must accept the unexpected? Sam did not ask for nor did he want his so called "gift," but Amanda is adamant to reveal the truth to Sam, even if it is painful. Will Amanda accomplish her life's calling by opening Sam's eyes to see the truth? A journey of immeasurable faith as well as believing in what is not tangible is at the core of Seeing Again: Through the Eyes of a Child. Margie Vieira is happily married to a most patient man. She has three amazing daughters who never allow her to forget what life is all about. Living in Northern California has enabled the author to see a broad spectrum of nature. She grew up on a dairy surrounded by farm land as far as the eye can see. Most importantly, "family" was the keyword and foundation to her upbringing. Writing her first novel broadened her path of thinking. Once she believed that all life had to offer was what she saw right in front of her, until Seeing Again opened her eyes to endless possibilities. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many people go through life as though they were blind and deaf. They seem to hear and see so little of the world that surrounds us. Through the Eyes of a Child summons us to an adventure to become a "seer" and experience life in a child-like way. This is a summons to discover or rediscover the world around us or within us and see all the miracles around us that we continuously neglect or fail to notice. Being awaken to child-like wonder and expectancy enables us to experience the deep mystery that is realized through learning how to see, hear, feel, touch, taste, and celebrate the wonder of life- even the wonder of sleep. Routine, busyness, noise, distractions, work, burdens, cluttered existence, and countless other matters blind us to seeing the splendor, beauty and mystery of the holy in the ordinary all around us. This book helps plant our feet on the path to recapture the child within to experience the blessing of being genuinely alive to God and to the world in which we live. It is an invitation to go on a journey within to try to see through the eyes of a child once again.

Book excerpt: About the Book " Through The Eyes of a Child," is a fictional side to the true story of the Cherokee Indians plight, being removed from their homeland in which they existed for centuries. The Cherokee Nation was forced from their homelands and this story tells how a small loving family dealt with the tragedy they would succumb to on this perilous journey. They travel through hazardous conditions. Through all the hardships of family loss, a young child, Little Bird grows from the wisdom taught from her grandmother and mother whose lives become joined with their Great Spirit. Little Bird becomes an icon of strength for her people. Filled with great wisdom and the knowledge of storytelling Little Bird gives the Cherokee Nation a perseverance of faith, and the ideal to never to give up. I have had many friends and family members who have constantly encouraged me to tell this story. The plight of this brave Cherokee Nation will always be remembered. In creating the character of Little Bird and her family I feel that I have given reality to this Trail of Tears that it deserves. I viewed myself as a member of the Cherokee People and wondered what it must have been like traveling so far each day, seeing hunger, disease, treacherous abuse, rape of women and children, these elements attacking this mighty people and watching so many people die before your eyes.
