God still uses ordinary people. Many of us have been made to feel at home in the woodshop. We, who possess a collector's enthusiasm for wood puzzles and teasers, have an innate desire to understand and appreciate the precision with which the components of an object may be designed to fit together. The Bible is the utmost of such design and precision. The Holy Spirit has drawn this cabinetmaker to undertake a serious study of God's Word over the last twenty years, which has consistently shown that the whole of His Book is written of Jesus Christ. Here offered as examples, are the many miracles of Elijah and Elisha, which initially seem puzzling and unconnected, but the Biblical Author's incisive descriptions allow them to dovetail perfectly with His presentations of both prophecy and the Gospel of Christ. Who knows whether their testimony was meant for such a time as this?
