This was not the case initially when the Palestinians had a chance at having their own State. They rejected the U.N. Book excerpt: Zion's Deliverance continues the brave adventures of the Remnant Rescue team during the last half of the seven-year Tribulation. The Principe of Rome, revealed as the Antichrist controlled by Satan, is slaughtering Jews and Christians at a staggering rate. He sends his elite undercover agents to find and destroy the last Remnant Rescue hiding sites. The Antichrist’s sinister deputy launches an atomic attack at a suspected hideout and thousands die in a fireball that mushroom over the Judean Desert. More nuclear attacks break out around the world as the Principe attacks Russian and Chinese troops preparing to invade Israel. In spite of their hatred for the maniacal Principe, Russia and China agree to join forces with him in a final battle to destroy Jerusalem. Their reward—the massive oil and gas reserves near Be’er Shiva. Their gathering point—Armageddon! Jake and Angie Cohen command the last remaining Remnant Rescue sites as the Great Tribulation period draws to a close. A desperate remnant looks to Heaven for Jesus their Messiah to deliver what’s left of Zion. Rescue teams enter the underground ghettos of Jerusalem in a last attempt to encourage survivors to trust in Messiah for their salvation before it’s too late. How many will be alive when the King of Kings comes to their rescue?

Book excerpt: Waimea Bay, North Shore, Oahu. The night sea rages in a Paso Doble wrought from love and war. Light and darkness. Good and evil. Lilly Rose has waited all day with zealous determination to glimpse her angel on the horizon and up close. So she dives into the alchemy of a typhoon-rattled sea to find one Soon rip currents claim her as the deep sea pulls her under its abyss. Overhead, Colonel Skye Worthy soars with his army of angels on this night of reckoning, sent to battle The Raven and emit the light of Zion. But when he sees a light under the sea unexpectedly, he halts his direction and dives into the deep. It’s a divine collision. An angel and a human. Light on light. A moment Skye and Lilly Rose will never forget. Do you want to see the angels? Love finds you when light encroaches upon the darkness. In THE COLONEL, divine collisions orchestrate The King’s love unfurled on the earth to shine His light and defeat The Raven. New Zion is coming. Eternity will reign in endless goodness and perfect love. But every angel and every person must decide whom they want to follow: The King or The Raven. The dueling paradigms of Earth and Heaven paint the backdrop of a love story between Lilly and Skye where light shines, love rises, redemption prevails, and life ignites from The King who seeks to engender a world without evil.

Book Zion s Christian Soldiers

Download or read book Zion s Christian Soldiers written by Stephen Sizer and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2021-07-24 with total page 190 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many Bible believing Christians are convinced that God blesses those nations that stand with Israel and curses those that don’t. This belief has had a significant influence on attitudes towards the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict in the Middle East. Claims made in books like the Scofield Reference Bible and Hal Lindsey’s The Late Great Planet Earth have fed into contemporary Christian Zionism, with radical implications for how we view our faith and the world in which we live. Stephen Sizer contends that this view is based on misinterpretation of the Bible. He provides an introduction to Christian Zionism and a clear response and positive alternative based on a careful study of relevant biblical texts. His intention is to encourage dialogue on the relationship between Israel and the Christian church and offer a more constructive view of the future and our role in it. This accessible volume includes numerous tables and diagrams, questions for Bible study and further reflection, and a glossary of terms. It concludes with a previously unpublished sermon by John Stott on ‘The Place of Israel.’

Book Little Red Scares

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Anti-communism has long been a potent force in American politics, capable of gripping both government and popular attention. Nowhere is this more evident that the two great 'red scares' of 1919-20 and 1946-54; the latter generally - if somewhat inaccurately - termed McCarthyism. The interlude between these two major scares has tended to garner less attention, but as this volume makes clear, the lingering effects of 1919-20 and the gathering storm-clouds of 'McCarthyism' were clearly visible throughout the 20s and 30s, even if in a more low-key way. Indeed, the period between the two great red scares was marked by frequent instances of political repression, often justified on anti-communist grounds, at local, state and federal levels. Yet these events have been curiously neglected in the history of American political repression and anti-communism, perhaps because much of the material deals with events scattered in time and space which never reached the intensity of the two great scares. By focusing on this twenty-five year 'interim' period, the essays in this collection bridge the gap between the two high-profile 'red scares' thus offering a much more contextualised and fluid narrative for American anti-communism. In so doing the rationale and motivations for the 'red scares' can be seen as part of an evolving political landscape, rather than as isolated bouts of hysteria exploding onto - and then vanishing from - the political scene. Instead, a much more nuanced appreciation of the conflicting interests and fears of government, politicians, organised labour, free-speech advocates, employers, and the press is offered, which will be of interest to anyone wishing to better understand the political history of modern America.
