The days until Oct. 11th were spent in squad, company and battal ion drill and practice firing over nea Mendota, where the experimenta. Farm now is. We were at first quartered in bar racks along the south and east side of the camp, and took our meals in large dining hall near the north en trance, but on the evening of Sept 2ith, some of the boys a 310 wen tired of rye coffee and mop soup.
