  • Publisher :
  • Release : 2021-04-08
  • ISBN :
  • Pages : 90 pages

Download or read book The Dogecoin Standard written by Sebastian Walden and published by . This book was released on 2021-04-08 with total page 90 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Over the past decade, many crypto enthusiasts have made the case for Bitcoin replacing the U.S. dollar, but in recent years that narrative has shifted. Slow transactions with high fees, high volatility, and hoarding have kept Bitcoin from becoming a usable currency, and instead, it is now seen as an investment asset, the new gold. Dogecoin is a fun, friendly, and open-sourced cryptocurrency, created in 2013 as a parody of Bitcoin. Since fate loves irony, Dogecoin might now have the best chance at becoming what Bitcoin was set to be. Dogecoin has the characteristics of any good currency. It supports very fast transactions at very low fees, has a decreasing inflation rate, is completely decentralized, and has a great community behind it. In this book, the case is made for the inevitable global adoption of the Dogecoin Standard. This would free the economy from many of the consequences of monetary manipulation by governments and set the ground for a happier, friendlier, and more democratic future.

It is (1) The inside joke of crypto (2) The middle finger to traditional finance and banks (3) Memepower No cryptocurrency can claim to have the same thing. That's why also no other cryptocurrency can capture the fancy of pop star billionaires as much. We're now seeing the actualization of internet culture and how the common man can overcome the power of old money billionaires. DOGECOIN is currently doing a lot of Bitcoin's work, on the back of Bitcoin of course, however, DOGE is Bitcoin's sidekick. It is not Litecoin, you can call it Dogecoin and it will be revered in the future by one of the most outstanding coins to take down traditional finance with memepower. We have now come full circle. However, is it a good time to buy DOGE now? You will find out when you purchase this amazing book. Still, it's quite possible that Elon Musk is currently market buying DOGE and pumping the price. It's either him or some other whale, because such sudden and large volumes (250% daily increase on a Top 10 coin) can't be produced just by market sentiments. I'm not sure this has ever even happened before. So, if you want to buy some DOGE, I would suggest you get this book first, because DOGE is actually a reasonable investment.

Book The Dogecoin Secrets Explained

Download or read book The Dogecoin Secrets Explained written by Alexander Stephen D and published by . This book was released on 2021-04-26 with total page 90 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THE BIG STORY OF DOGECOIN: What is the fate of Doge coin? Is it a splendid one or is it doomed to fail. Indeed, I think there are two things that we need to mull over when discussing the fate of Dogecoin. One is the new large news that Bill Gates has pulled resources into Doge Coin, which has raised a great deal of concern and uncertainty in the phase of Dogecoiners. The other thing that we need to consider is what the future or fate of Dogecoin will resemble if Mr. Elon Musk gets everything he might want and fires up his new self-sufficient province on Mars. Are we going to use the virtual currency for tax payments and colony ships? What is the fate of Dogecoin? I accept that the Internet will proceed to grow and expand. It is obvious that the Internet will be one way that people use to make their Doge Coins. Also, this is a genuine concern, because if we are not cautious, this virtual currency could transform into something that is difficult to control, which could mess up what's to come. I trust that this Dogecoin topic has given you something to consider and perhaps something to be worried about. There is a lot to be gained from these types of things, and ideally you have gained some new understanding into what is the future or fate of dogecoin. DON'T FAIL TO BUY THIS BOOK IF: You want to know more about Dogecoin professionally, You lack the financial capacity to invest a huge sum, You want to know the predictions of Dogecoin, You are concerned about the rise of Dogecoin You desire to know the future and fate f Dogecoin You want to know if Dogecoin will reach $100, You want to know how many Dogecoin left, And other expertise solutions featured in this book CONGRATULATIONS

Book Dogecoin History of the First Year

This book was released on 2015-12-08 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: BLACK & WHITE VERSION. Dogecoin (DOGE) is a decentralised cryptocurrency similar to Bitcoin. It is a coin featuring a likeness of the Shiba Inu dog from the "Doge" Internet meme of the year 2013. It began as a "joke" cryptocurrency but soon gained traction as one of the most popular cryptocurrencies available. Jackson Palmer, an Adobe Marketing Specialist from Sydney, Australia posted a tweet from his own account which read ""Investing in Dogecoin, pretty sure it's the next big thing. http: //tmblr.co/ZXKfHx-duU4J" on the 28th of November 2013. At this time, the at value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies were reaching all time high market capitalisations. It was also the time at which new coins were being launched every week. Jackson Palmer was following coins such as Bitcoin, Litecoin and Feathercoin. Some people then encouraged Jack to create Dogecoin. Six days later, Jack bought the domain name www.dogecoin.com on which he placed a picture of a makeshift Dogecoin logo alongside a funny slogan. It was not long before the visitor count of this site increased substantially via retweets. On the 6th of December, a programmer from Oregon, USA called Billy Markus contacted Jack Palmer after seeing the website via direct link on an IRC chatroom. He created the source code and wallet client of Dogecoin ready for launch. This book is a detailed history of the first year of Dogecoin up to the 8th of December 2014 (the time at which the blockchain had been usable for one year by the general public)."

  • Author : Sarah Comyn
  • Publisher : Taylor & Francis
  • Release : 2024-07-10
  • ISBN : 1040133525
  • Pages : 112 pages

Download or read book Political Economy written by Sarah Comyn and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2024-07-10 with total page 112 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Providing a ‘short take’ on the long history of political economy, this book examines both the stories about and those within economics. It traces the history of political economy from its beginnings in the Scottish Enlightenment; through its disciplinary demarcation as a science in the nineteenth century that saw its differentiation from literary, aesthetic, and moral discourses; and to its emergence as the ‘amoral’ market-driven neoliberalism that dominates economic theories and policies today. In exploring the long history of economic thought, it examines and challenges both Enlightenment and contemporary grand narratives such as the stadial theory of progress, the ‘Great Divergence’ and the ‘Great Convergence’ that have divided the world into global norths and souths according to their economic advantages. It concludes with a study of currency as both a medium of monetary exchange and a term that denotes prevalence and acceptance to explore political economy’s continuous engagement with the problem of representing value through money. Part of the series Short Takes on Long Views, this book will appeal to a traditional academic audience of scholars and students, and to a wider public audience of informed non-fiction readers interested in the long history of economics.

  • Pages : 322 pages

Download or read book Proof of Work written by Rhea Myers and published by MIT Press. This book was released on 2023-04-11 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A beautifully produced anthology of crypto-artist, writer, and hacker Rhea Myers's pioneering blockchain art, along with a selection of her essays, reviews, and fictions. DAO? BTC? NFT? ETH? ART? WTF? HODL as OG crypto-artist, writer, and hacker Rhea Myers searches for faces in cryptographic hashes, follows a day in the life of a young shibe in the year 2032, and patiently explains why all art should be destructively uploaded to the blockchain. Now an acknowledged pioneer whose work has graced the auction room at Sotheby’s, Myers embarked on her first art projects focusing on blockchain tech in 2011, making her one of the first artists to engage in creative, speculative, and conceptual engagements with "the new internet." Proof of Work brings together annotated presentations of Myers’s blockchain artworks along with her essays, reviews, and fictions—a sustained critical encounter between the cultures and histories of the artworld and crypto-utopianism, technically accomplished but always generously demystifying and often mischievous. Her deep understanding of the technical history and debates around blockchain technology is complemented by a broader sense of the crypto movement and the artistic and political sensibilities that accompanied its ascendancy. Remodeling the tropes of conceptual art and net.art to explore what blockchain technology reveals about our concepts of value, culture, and currency, Myers’s work has become required viewing for anyone interested in the future of art, consensus, law, and collectivity.
