Others discussed such issues as cost-benefit analysis and the risk-based approach to decision analysis. Use of risk assessment methods for risk management continued to be a matter of strong opinion and debate. The impacts of state and federal regulations, existing and planned, were assessed in sessions and in luncheon speeches. These impacts show that risk analysis practitioners will have an increasingly important role in the future. They will be challenged to provide clear, easily understood evaluations of risk that are responsive to society's concern for risk, as evidenced in laws and regulations. Of course, the various risk analysis specialties overlapped in domains of interest.

Our starting point was the problem related to many physical affectations suffered by teachers and registered in the Institution's medical department system. Then they were scientifically based on topics such as occupational health, occupational risks, ergonomics, and technological elements. Methodologically, we worked with a population of 478 teachers from which a sample of 218 people was selected. Digital survey through the Forms application and the AHP Saaty method were the investigative techniques we used. Among the main findings, it can be noted that the vast majority of those investigated spend an average of 10 hours in front of the computer and are unaware of aspects related to ergonomics and its impact on occupational health. Finally, we make a proposal related to the use of technological elements to generate knowledge about the occupational risks generated by ergonomic aspects.

However, in Risk and Securitization in Japan, 1945-1960, Piers R. Williamson argues that this assumption of a shift in rationality stems from a fundamental failure to distinguish between the concepts of threat and risk. By clarifying the concepts of threat and risk, this book challenges the prevailing hypothesis of a shift from threat to risk with the end of the Cold War, and in doing so presents a new explanatory model of risk that can be applied to Japan and elsewhere. In turn, it proposes that a full comprehension of the concept of risk can generate new understandings of political processes that would otherwise remain obscured. Williamson demonstrates how this can be done, proffering a new perspective on Japanese security discourse, especially the controversy between, on the one hand, early Japanese governments, prime ministers, Diet members, and those Japanese who drafted the Japanese proposal for the new constitution, and, on the other hand, intellectuals, peace movement activists, proponents of unarmed neutrality and the US-Japan security treaty.
