Ambition inflamed, he looks to the soon-to-be-created Earth as a place where he can see his destiny realized. With a willing crew of equally ambitious angels, Lucifer creates a fifth-column of malcontents under the very throne of God. Hot on their heels, however, is a group of loyalists, led by Michael and Gabriel, who are suspicious of Lucifer's true motives. In detective style fashion they slowly start to unmask the true nature of Lucifer's sordid plot.

Book Creation Lucifer s Rebellion

Download or read book Creation Lucifer s Rebellion written by Preston Jeremy Cash and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2019-12-31 with total page 266 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the untold story about the one who was once the embodiment of perfection, born of the light and praised by it and yet so sinful and rebellious. It’s the story of one who's been neglected and forgotten and now seeks to be whole once again with its other. This is a story about a father who is filled with so much shining pride that it blinds him from seeing the darkness stained truth sitting under his very nose. It’s a story about the first war as well as the first sin, told from the perspectives of those who were there to witness it. See how one person’s cause created a ripple which affected so many things. You may think you know the story but sometimes a story is only as truthful as the mouth of the one who tells it, in this case, not from the mouth of the one whose story we follow, but rather from the mouth of another.

Book The Ultimate Conspiracy

Download or read book The Ultimate Conspiracy written by Milan Martin and published by . This book was released on 2023-06-13 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Starting in the Book of Genesis, and running throughout the entire Old Testament, we are given brief glances of a rebellion against God's authority which involved a full third of the angels of heaven. This rebellion was led by a mysteriously beautiful, and wise creature known as Lucifer, which God had given much power and authority to administer over his heavenly mercy seat. This heavenly rebel is called by several names throughout the New Testament, but Jesus usually referred to him as the Devil or Satan. When one considers the magnitude of this rebellion and the spiritual ramifications it has had on all of God's creation, it is a wonder that so little is said about Lucifer in the Bible. This rebellion took place long before the creation of Adam and Eve, for Lucifer was already labeled a spiritual outlaw long before the six days of creation listed in the book of Genesis; however, there is a mysterious plan the godhead devised. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit secretly conspired together among themselves to legally deal with Lucifer's universal rebellion. The godhead then chose to keep this plan a secret even from his faithful angels, thus we have a mystery that involves a "Promised Seed" that runs throughout the Bible. Although some theologians have labeled this mystery "the plan of redemption," I prefer to think of it as "God's Ultimate Conspiracy." The details of this divinely inspired plan would be hidden from everybody, including Lucifer, for God was careful not to tell him too much. God willing, may you, the reader, have eyes to see this mysterious plan which has been hidden from all but God's elect from the foundation of the earth, until this time.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Julián Romero, Sancho Dávila, Cristóbal de Mondragón, and Francisco de Valdés were prominent Spanish military commanders during the first decade of the Revolt in the Low Countries (1567–1577). Occupying key positions in this conflict, they featured as central characters in various war narratives and episodical descriptions of the events they were involved in, ranging from chronicles, poems, theatre plays, engravings, and songs to news pamphlets. To this day, they still figure as protagonists of historical novels: brave heroes in some, cruel oppressors in others. Yet personal, first-hand accounts also exist. Archival research into the letters written by these commanders now makes it possible to include their perspectives and the way they describe their own experiences. Looking through the eyes of four Spanish commanders, Protagonists of War provides the reader with an alternative reading of the Revolt, contrasting the subjective experiences of these protagonists with fictionalised perceptions.

Book Dante and the Franciscans

Download or read book Dante and the Franciscans written by N. R. Havely and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2004-08-12 with total page 238 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Nicholas Havely examines the connections between Dante, the Franciscans and the Papacy as they appear in the Commedia, and presents the poem as one concerned with an often dramatic confrontation between authority and idealism in the church. Havely draws on a wide range of literary, historical and art historical sources relating to the controversy about Franciscan poverty during the late thirteenth and early fourteenth centuries. He argues that the Spiritual Franciscans' strict interpretations of evangelical poverty provided the poet with a means of addressing the state of the contemporary Papacy and of imagining the renewal of the church. He also explores the origins and afterlife of the debate about this form of poverty and Dante's contribution to it. This study will appeal to scholars interested in medieval religious and intellectual history, as well as to readers of Dante's poem and other medieval visionary and political writing.
