Book The Devil Can t Have Me No Matter What

Download or read book The Devil Can t Have Me No Matter What written by Mary Wilkerson and published by Outskirts Press. This book was released on 2019-10-14 with total page 180 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I am just an ordinary person who loves the Lord and wants to spread His Word. My husband and I were caretakers for my mom, who lived with us. My mom always wanted me to write a book, but working a full-time job and being a full-time caretaker leaves little time for anything. Her faith-based life has been an inspiration to me. After my beloved mother, who loved God more than anything, passed away, an overwhelming idea came to me to write an inspirational religious book. I believe this idea came from God. Everything happens in God’s time, not ours. This book is based loosely on my life experiences. Mixed with a touch of humor and a lot of Bible scriptures, I hope this book will help others find God and stay focused on God, despite what life may throw at you. I wanted to write a book a little different than what is out there. I hope I accomplished my mission. God bless you.

Book WHO AM I

Download or read book WHO AM I written by Tony and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2013-06 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book was written during some of the most intense, compounding, and suffering moments that I experienced. What is meant literally to be head pounding and raging emotional cycles of extreme bliss to chaos and back. This book is a creation through me of that nature and the strength for which is preserved within it. It is a story of survival, knowledge, and wisdom. An expression of the catacomb of life force that is also the representation of us all, not as a tomb, but as a vault of knowledge, experiences, and wisdom built on the ages of human existence from the beginning to the end. I want you all to know that in the end, I found gratitude for the experience even though the vortex was the most horrifying place to go. Many have suffered its fate to a dismal ending of suicide, yet I am a survivor, one who has converted its negative energies to the positive force. This force that is passed from one to another, looking to focus in, had found itself challenged by my own wit, desires, and struggles to find the truth. The knowledge of its existence and the beholder of its cycle should be known by all of us so that it can be nourished for the good of humanity, not the control of them. The Satanist views of the days past have been inverted for the enlightenment has taken hold and will endure for the future existence of humanity. My experience was like the Manchurian candidate 7 billion fold. God bless him who has the strength to withstand this vortex in the next cycle. God bless you all.

Now it seems all the thieves have to do, in this romantic and deeply obscure psychedelic thriller, is blow the safe door but that's not as easy as it might sound. There's only one thing powerful enough to bust through the walls of this time-locked vault system, and that's karma - if you can harness enough of it and apply it in the right way at the right time. Well, karma mixed in with the essential incendiary ingredients: pain and fear. Then the door can be blown clean off its hinges. A non-fiction ayahuasca tale. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God of the Valleys: Mysteries Along Life’s Journey God of the Valleys: Mysteries Along Life’s Journey is a journey with God that reminds us that when we trust in God rather than leaning on our understanding, we acknowledge Him, and God will make our path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Janet Williamson’s journey is not a path of despair, nor are the pages strewn with hopeless devastation. Her story overflows with faith in God, undying courage, and God’s grace to push through struggles, even with joy. Theirs wasn’t a journey that exempted us from suffering; on the contrary, God and the support of friends taught them how to thrive in the midst of it. Hospitalization and cancer were such a big part of their lives that they had to triumph over these with God’s help to enjoy full lives. There are mysteries about God and suffering that are not easily explained, and even when we don’t understand, trusting in Him is still the answer. Williamson is so thankful to God for the gift of her children, Tanya and Eric, who loved God and walked with Him all their days and taught her to do the same.

Download or read book The Printer s Devil written by Paul Coulter and published by Heartwood Press. This book was released on 2010-11-04 with total page 371 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Set in New York's notoriously corrupt Tammany Hall era following the Civil War, The Printer's Devil follows Ambrose Kelly, a type-setter for The Tribune. Ambrose has come far in life since his impoverished youth, when he supported his mother and siblings as a bare knuckles fighter. In 1870, Ambrose's dreams are shattered when his wife Maeve and son Edward are run down by a beer wagon. Suspecting murder, Ambrose is intent on tracking down the killers. He arranges for his disabled niece Addie to move in and care for his three year old daughter Nola. Ambrose believes his wife and son were killed because of his side trade in acquiring old books for wealthy patrons. But there may be a different cause - strong-arm work he did for Tammany Hall as a young man. Boss Tweed faces investigation and Ambrose knows that Tammany wouldn't hesitate to silence potential witnesses. Ambrose receives unexpected help from Maisie Rourke, his little sisters' childhood friend. The 19th century equivalent of a call girl, Maisie knows everyone from Samuel Clemens to Jay Gould to George Vandermeer, the shipping magnate who originally commissioned the search for St. Mathew's gospel. After three attempts on Ambrose's life, his former boss Horace Greeley sends him to the Ottoman Empire as a correspondent, enabling Ambrose to track Vandermeer. After discovering Maisie's skill at art, Greeley hires her as Ambrose's illustrator. Together, they follow Vandermeer from Constantinople to a Georgian monastery to the Caspian to Cairo and Luxor and Abyssinia in a deadly race to find the gospel first. Meanwhile, Nola is kidnapped and Addie, though deaf and mute, must search New York alone. While Ambrose wards off his enemies and protects his family, he also must settle his confused feelings between grief for Maeve and Edward, a budding romance with Maisie, and attraction to his niece (by marriage) Addie, who reminds him so much of Maeve.
