We then discuss the implementation of the network on a chip, examining issues ranging from the architectural level to the circuit level. Finally, we present results of circuit simulations of extracted layout of a network on a chip processor, and we discuss the impact of these results on the performance of a sensor network simulator running on the network on a chip.
