As a proof of this, the lady to whom I have taken the liberty' of dedicating my little book wrote to me some time ago I look forward with great interest to the publication of that charming book, which I shall enjoy quite as much as if I were one of your legitimate readers of eight years old, instead of fifty-eight next Tuesday: so you see that not only the school-boy but one whose genius has delighted thousands, can read them with enjoyment.
