Download or read book The Creation Its Infinite Features and Finite Realms Volume Iv written by Jack Hetrick and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2017-02-27 with total page 185 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In 1996, a discovery was made of a body of knowledge which is believed to have important implications for the future of man. In that year, it was discovered that many cultural artifacts produced by man since about 30,000 BC possess an unusual symbolism. In The Creation: Its Infinite Features and Finite Realms, artifacts of man that possess this unusual symbolism are referred to as inspired sources. Volume IV of The Creation series addresses inspired sources that pertain to the destiny of man to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ and expand the kingdom of God to other stellar systems in the Milky Way Galaxy and, ultimately, to distant parts of the universe in the future age. This study also briefly addresses the means, that is, spaceship propulsion, wormhole travel, and black hole travel, by which man and other living entities who serve the Creator in the present age will travel to stellar and galactic destinations in the future age.

Download or read book The Creation Its Infinite Features and Finite Realms Volume I written by Jack Hetrick and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2014-09-19 with total page 225 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the last decade of the twentieth century A.D., a discovery was made of a body of knowledge, which, it is believed, has important implications for the future of man. In 1996, it was discovered that many cultural artifacts produced by man since about 30,000 B.C. possess an unusual symbolism. This symbolism, as we shall see, has a mathematical component associated with it that finds expression in the form of alignments and points of alignments. Because of this, the interpretation of this symbolism is not entirely subjective, but has an objective aspect to it, as well. In The Creation: Its Infinite Features and Finite Realms, artifacts of man that possess this unusual symbolism are referred to as inspired sources. They are called "inspired" because the symbolism present in these artifacts is believed to be inspired by the Creator, and they are called "sources" because the increments of knowledge transmitted by the symbolism of these artifacts are sources of knowledge.

In Volume III of The Creation, a study of inspired sources that pertain to the advanced oceanic civilization and the advanced stellar civilization of Atlantis is undertaken. In addition, the advanced interstellar civilizations that serve the Creator and Satan are addressed, as well. Based on this study, the possible location of a facility of the former advanced stellar civilization of Atlantis is revealed. Man's discovery of this facility, or another like it, is believed to be eminent and, hopefully, will result in the development of a new kind of technology-one that is referred to in The Creation series as mystical technology.

In Volume I of The Creation, the study of the multiple-inspired source, "Lascaux Cave" (Figure 1), was begun. In Volume II, the study of this inspired source is completed. Then, in the final chapter of Volume II, another inspired source is studied, which has a predictive aspect to it, and reveals a major event that recently took place on earth. This event, it is believed, is a portent of the approaching end of the present age and the beginning of that age referred to in Christian eschatology as the age to come.

Download or read book Elohim Phenomenon written by I. D. McClain and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2013-03-08 with total page 478 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a mathematical and scientific portrayal of the creation of the physical universe. We examine all the details of forming a neutron, the atoms, the earth, and the galaxies as related to the Torah. Unlike most creational science books that biologically attack evolution or focus in on the flood or the big bang theory, we build the entire universe from scratch, namely nothing. After building the microcosm, we build the macrocosm and the earth. We only touch biology from the standpoint of transition from before and after the fall. After structuring the initial universe and earth, we examine all the cataclysmic activity that formulates the world as we know it today. Truly, the reverence for Elohim is the beginning of knowledge and the Torah a light to follow for understanding. The reverence for Elohim is like deciding to look at the map for directions. The Torah is like the images on the map. The Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) gives us the ability to understand the images that we see on the map. Have you ever wondered how plants survive after Elohim created them before there was a sun to divide day from night? Or did you just decide that the whole idea is impossible?

Book Philosophy of Mind in the Early and High Middle Ages

Download or read book Philosophy of Mind in the Early and High Middle Ages written by Margaret Cameron and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2018-07-06 with total page 288 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Philosophy of Mind in the Early and High Middle Ages provides an outstanding overview to a tumultuous 900-year period of discovery, innovation, and intellectual controversy that began with the Roman senator Boethius (c480-524) and concluded with the Franciscan theologian and philosopher John Duns Scotus (c1266-1308). Relatively neglected in philosophy of mind, this volume highlights the importance of philosophers such as Abelard, Duns Scotus, and the Persian philosopher and polymath Avicenna to the history of philosophy of mind. Following an introduction by Margaret Cameron, twelve specially commissioned chapters by an international team of contributors discuss key topics, thinkers and debates, including: mental perception; Avicenna and the intellectual abstraction of intelligibles; Duns Scotus; soul, will, and choice in Islamic and Jewish contexts; perceptual experience; the systematization of the passions; the complexity of the soul and the problem of unity; the phenomenology of immortality; morality; and the self. Essential reading for students and researchers in philosophy of mind, medieval philosophy, and the history of philosophy, Philosophy of Mind in the Early and High Middle Ages is also a valuable resource for those in related disciplines such as Religion.

Book Encyclopedia of Asian Philosophy

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Incorporating cultural and religious contexts, this unique Encyclopedia provides a vital guide to the main concepts and thinkers in Asian philosophy - starting with Abhidharma and ending with Zurvan. The main philosophical trends and thinkers in each geographical area are featured, with an emphasis on endtemporary developments and movements. The A-Z structured encyclopedia emphasizes that Asian philosophy is not merely an ancient form of thought but that it is a living philosophy, with roots in the past, and also a potent and animate presence today. This translates into the reciprocal exchange of theories between Eastern and Western thinking, for example of new schools of thought such as orientalism. Requiring no prior knowledge of philosophy, religion or Asian cultures, this book is essential reading for students, teachers and the interested individual who wishes to gain an understanding of the philosophical basis to Asian cultural systems.

Book Collected Works Volume I

Download or read book Collected Works Volume I written by Adolf Grünbaum and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2013-07-16 with total page 496 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Adolf Grünbaum is one of the giants of 20th century philosophy of science. This volume is the first of three collecting his most essential and highly influential work. The essays collected in this first volume focus on three related areas. They discuss scientific rationality-the problem of what it takes for a theory to be called scientific, and ask whether it is plausible to draw a clear distinction between science and non-science as was famously proposed by Karl Popper. They delve into the debate between determinism and indeterminism, in both science and in the humanities. Grünbaum defends the position of the Humane Determinist, which then leads to a thorough criticism of the current theological approaches to ethics and morality-where Grünbaum defends an explicit Secular Humanism-as well as of prominent theistic interpretations of twentieth century physical cosmologies. The second volume is devoted to Grünbaum's writings on the Philosophy of Physics and Space-Time, and the third to his lectures on the Philosophy of Psychology and Psychoanalysis, including his 1985 Gifford Lectures, which are to be published for the first time.

Book Access to God in Augustine s Confessions

Download or read book Access to God in Augustine s Confessions written by Carl G. Vaught and published by State University of New York Press. This book was released on 2012-02-01 with total page 294 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the final volume in Carl G. Vaught's groundbreaking trilogy reappraising Augustine's Confessions, a cornerstone of Western philosophy and one of the most influential works in the Christian tradition. Vaught offers a new interpretation of the philosopher as less Neoplatonic and more distinctively Christian than most interpreters have thought. In this book, he focuses on the most philosophical section of the Confessions and on how it relates to the previous, more autobiographical sections. A companion to the previous two volumes, which dealt with Books I–IX, this book can be read either in sequence with or independently of the others. Books X–XIII of the Confessions begin after Augustine has become Bishop of Hippo and they are separated by more than ten years from the episodes recorded in the previous nine books of the text. This establishes the narrative in the present and speaks to the "believing sons of men." Augustine explores how memory, time, and creation make the journey toward God and the encounter with God possible. Vaught analyzes these conditions in order to unlock Augustine's solutions to familiar philosophical and theological problems. He also tackles the frequently discussed problem of the alleged disconnection between the earlier books and the last four books by showing how Augustine binds experience and reflection together.
