Book The COUNCIL OF THE SEVEN LIGHTS

Download or read book The COUNCIL OF THE SEVEN LIGHTS written by George W. van Tassel and published by . This book was released on 2021-11-16 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In his book of 1958: The Council of Seven Lights, George van Tassel produced a compilation of communications describing a reality that many of us are not familiar with. Much of the information is complex and was not easily understood. The subject matters include the cycling of twelve densities, the progressed evolution of planets, and the connection between gravity and electricity. He takes the reader far beyond our atmosphere to give technical data on the lines of energy, the conditions of space. He describes polarity, its positive and negative aspects, and applies theory to fact so the reader can understand every point he makes. The beginning of all creation has the same meaning as the ending of all creation, for all things have always existed and always will exist. Everything anyone has ever been or will ever be, he is now. This is a truth often overlooked in man's search for understanding. He forgets God was all there was, and therefore all there is now or will ever be. Van Tassel writes that religion and science are the same thing, the only difference being that they are two opposite viewpoints. Just as a wall is a wall regardless of which side one stands on, so are science and religion, life itself. According to Van Tassel, the Bible is an accurate history of events repeating themselves in cycles. He says there are predictions referring to spaceships throughout the Bible, among them the prophecy that there will be a day when the ships will come to take the people who are ready, leaving those who are not prepared to face the cataclysmic destruction inevitably approaching. This book explains the vortices of the human body that are responsible for the reasons that certain individuals affect one so strongly on meeting, a violent, a strong attraction without apparent cause, and also explain a person's effect on each others. In The Council of Seven Lights, the reader will ind many absorbing facets of knowledge - new data on atmospheric conditions, further information about space ships, and for the searcher who desires more understanding of the greater pattern of life, a philosophy well worth studyingCopy and paste the link for our books at: https: //saucerianbooks.blogspot.com

Book excerpt: Winner of the John Gilmary Shea Prize The Council of Trent (1545–1563), the Catholic Church’s attempt to put its house in order in response to the Protestant Reformation, has long been praised and blamed for things it never did. Now, in this first full one-volume history in modern times, John W. O’Malley brings to life the volatile issues that pushed several Holy Roman emperors, kings and queens of France, and five popes—and all of Europe with them—repeatedly to the brink of disaster. During the council’s eighteen years, war and threat of war among the key players, as well as the Ottoman Turks’ onslaught against Christendom, turned the council into a perilous enterprise. Its leaders declined to make a pronouncement on war against infidels, but Trent’s most glaring and ironic silence was on the authority of the papacy itself. The popes, who reigned as Italian monarchs while serving as pastors, did everything in their power to keep papal reform out of the council’s hands—and their power was considerable. O’Malley shows how the council pursued its contentious parallel agenda of reforming the Church while simultaneously asserting Catholic doctrine. Like What Happened at Vatican II, O’Malley’s Trent: What Happened at the Council strips mythology from historical truth while providing a clear, concise, and fascinating account of a pivotal episode in Church history. In celebration of the 450th anniversary of the council’s closing, it sets the record straight about the much misunderstood failures and achievements of this critical moment in European history.

Download or read book Keys to the Council written by Richard R. Gaillardetz and published by Liturgical Press. This book was released on 2012-02-01 with total page 225 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As the church marks the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council, too few Catholics have an adequate grasp of what the council contributed to the life of the church. The problem is understandable. The Second Vatican Council produced, by far, more document pages than any other council. Consequently, any attempt to master its core teachings can be daunting. There is a danger of missing the forest for the trees. With this in mind, Keys to the Council identifies twenty key conciliar passages, central texts that help us appreciate the Vision of the council fathers. Each chapter places the given passage in its larger historical context, explores its fundamental meaning and significance, and finally considers its larger significance for the life of the church today. Chapters include exploration of Sacrosanctum Concilium's demand for full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgy; Lumen Gentium's eucharistic ecclesiology; Gaudium et Spes's vision of marriage as an intimate partnership of life and love; Nostra Aetate's approach to non-Christian religions; and more.
