Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An introduction to the biotechnologies of water vitalization • Reveals the deeper secrets of the element water including its memory • Shows the practical applications founded on the work of such pioneers of water research as Viktor Schauberger, Theodor Schwenk, and Masaru Emoto • Looks at water dynamization devices currently available commercially Water is more than the simple liquid evoked by its scientific name H2O. The discoveries by pioneering figures like Viktor Schauberger and Masaru Emoto have shown that this essential substance is much more complex than originally believed. Water is incredibly sensitive to the micro-information from the surrounding environment and it also possesses a memory. Unfortunately, many of the modern techniques for making water readily available have resulted in depreciating its vitality. Many of the benefits that water can provide when in its optimum natural state have been lost. But there are now methods that have been perfected over the past several decades that can transform our banal tap water back to its natural potent state as the elixir of life. Experience has shown that these methods and devices can even transform water that has been heavily polluted by agriculture or industry into a potable fluid that looks like the product of a limpid mountain spring. Tests show that no trace of the pollutants remain. Many of these devices are available commercially, offering to all the possibility of enjoying the optimum benefits water can deliver when in its healthy, natural state.

Download or read book Holy Ground Healing Water written by Donald J. Blakeslee and published by Texas A&M University Press. This book was released on 2010 with total page 537 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most people would not consider north central Kansas' Waconda Lake to be extraordinary. The lake, completed in 1969 by the federal Bureau of Reclamation for flood control, irrigation, and water supply purposes, sits amid a region known--when it is thought of at all--for agriculture and, perhaps to a few, as the home of "The World's Largest Ball of Twine" (in nearby Cawker City). Yet, to the native people living in this region in the centuries before Anglo incursion, this was a place of great spiritual power and mystic significance. Waconda Spring, now beneath the waters of the lake, was held as sacred, a place where connection with the spirit world was possible. Nearby, a giant snake symbol carved into the earth by native peoples--likely the ancestors of today's Wichitas--signified a similar place of reverence and totemic power. All that began to change on July 6, 1870, when Charles DeRudio, an officer in the 7th U.S. Cavalry who had served with George Armstrong Custer, purchased a tract on the north bank of the Solomon River--a tract that included Waconda Spring. DeRudio had little regard for the sacred properties of his acrea≥ instead, he viewed the mineral spring as a way to make money. In Holy Ground, Healing Water: Cultural Landscapes at Waconda Springs, Kansas, anthropologist Donald J. Blakeslee traces the usage and attendant meanings of this area, beginning with prehistoric sites dating between AD 1000 and 1250 and continuing to the present day. Addressing all the sites at Waconda Lake, regardless of age or cultural affiliation, Blakeslee tells a dramatic story that looks back from the humdrum present through the romantic haze of the nineteenth century to an older landscape, one that is more wonderful by far than what the modern imagination can conceive.

Download or read book Life in the City of Dirty Water written by Clayton Thomas-Muller and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2021-08-24 with total page 237 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: *FINALIST FOR 2022 CANADA READS* *SHORTLISTED FOR THE 2022 J.W. DAFOE BOOK PRIZE* *SHORTLISTED FOR THE 2022 MANITOBA BOOK AWARDS’ MCNALLY ROBINSON BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD* NATIONAL BESTSELLER A gritty and inspiring memoir from renowned Cree environmental activist Clayton Thomas-Muller, who escaped the world of drugs and gang life to take up the warrior’s fight against the assault on Indigenous peoples’ lands—and eventually the warrior’s spirituality. There have been many Clayton Thomas-Mullers: The child who played with toy planes as an escape from domestic and sexual abuse, enduring the intergenerational trauma of Canada's residential school system; the angry youngster who defended himself with fists and sharp wit against racism and violence, at school and on the streets of Winnipeg and small-town British Columbia; the tough teenager who, at 17, managed a drug house run by members of his family, and slipped in and out of juvie, operating in a world of violence and pain. But behind them all, there was another Clayton: the one who remained immersed in Cree spirituality, and who embraced the rituals and ways of thinking vital to his heritage; the one who reconnected with the land during summer visits to his great-grandparents' trapline in his home territory of Pukatawagan in northern Manitoba. And it's this version of Clayton that ultimately triumphed, finding healing by directly facing the trauma that he shares with Indigenous peoples around the world. Now a leading organizer and activist on the frontlines of environmental resistance, Clayton brings his warrior spirit to the fight against the ongoing assault on Indigenous peoples' lands by Big Oil. Tying together personal stories of survival that bring the realities of the First Nations of this land into sharp focus, and lessons learned from a career as a frontline activist committed to addressing environmental injustice at a global scale, Thomas-Muller offers a narrative and vision of healing and responsibility.
