She argues that essential elements of the modern understanding of climate arose as a means of thinking across scales in a state—the multinational Habsburg Monarchy, a patchwork of medieval kingdoms and modern laws—where such thinking was a political imperative. A proper understanding of lighting reveals massive quantities of atmospheric heat into Visible Light that has no problem causing the Greenhouse Gas Barrier. So much so, that one year's Global Warming from All sources is only at most 0.000274% of the amount of atmospheric heat converted into light and expelled into space by lightning in a year.
