Book The Cleansing of the Inner Man and Self

Download or read book The Cleansing of the Inner Man and Self written by Allen Brown and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2020-05-21 with total page 138 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One reason that Jesus came to earth was to redeem man (inner man) back to the Father through his death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is for the inner man. It is not for you, your flesh. Self is the enemy of the soul. The Holy Spirit purges the soul of sin when he is invited by you. He also keeps a close surveillance on self because it will wreak havoc of the soul. Self is the one that sins; the real you (inner man) does not sin at all because he is Christlike. Self is embedded in the soul of every human being on earth. You cannot expel self from the soul by pleading the blood of Jesus or by praying. It has a permanent fixture in the soul or outside of the soul. When God calls you home, self goes back to dust forever.

Book excerpt: How to overcome the three forces that work against us daily: toxic influences, toxic emotions, and toxic behaviors. What's holding us back from growing in this relationship that we claim is our main priority? Book Cleansing of the Soul A New Way of Life

Download or read book Cleansing of the Soul A New Way of Life written by Lula Williams and published by Trilogy Christian Publishing. This book was released on 2020-08-26 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Rising out of the ashes around the world are the true worshipers. Isaiah 61:3 (ESV): "To grant to those who mourn in Zion-- to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified." This devotional was finished in March, 2019, as though written for the times we now live in. Through thoughts dedicated to King David, it speaks a lot about trusting God and cleansing our lives of the clutter that keeps our bodies so unhealthy. I believe that God will use this devotional to prepare us for things to come, giving us the strength to survive the changes that are taking place. Helping us to build on a different but better foundation. The Word of God is full of promises--not like the promises that man makes and oftentimes cannot keep. The promises of God are given and kept to withstand the test of time. They will not fail us. In this devotional is life. If you will work His steps, you will find inside of yourself the strength and endurance, and the gateway to a healthier soul and spirit that makes for a healthier body. I am called the oak tree; out of the ashes, God called me. I am Lula Williams: a true worshiper of God.

Download or read book The Spiritual Man written by Watchman Nee and published by Wilder Publications. This book was released on 2008-05 with total page 164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The ordinary concept of the constitution of human beings is dualistic-soul and body. According to this concept soul is the invisible inner spiritual part, while body is the visible outer corporal part. Though there is some truth to this, it is nevertheless inaccurate. Such an opinion comes from fallen man, not from God; apart from God's revelation, no concept is dependable. That the body is man's outward sheath is undoubtedly correct, but the Bible never confuses spirit and soul as though they are the same. Not only are they different in terms; their very natures differ from each other. The Word of God does not divide man into the two parts of soul and body. It treats man, rather, as tripartite-spirit, soul and body.

In his book Preachers and Preaching, Martyn Lloyd-Jones noted, "I shall never cease to be grateful to Richard Sibbes, who was balm to my soul at a period in my life when I was overworked and badly overtired, and therefore subject in an unusual manner to the onslaughts of the devil.... I found at that time that Richard Sibbes... was an unfailing remedy. His books The Bruised Reed and The Soul's Conflict quietened, soothed, comforted, encouraged, and healed me." In this book, Sibbes reflects on Psalm 42:11 — "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God."

Book The Soul Of Man Traversing the Mystery of Man As A Living Soul

Download or read book The Soul Of Man Traversing the Mystery of Man As A Living Soul written by C. Orville McLeish and published by . This book was released on 2021-01-19 with total page 150 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The triune nature of man (spirit, soul, body), created in God's image and likeness, is one of the greatest mysteries of all time. There have been significant medical and scientific discoveries related to the body of man. Yet, no expert will claim he or she has even begun to understand its makeup and functionality. How much more is understanding man's spirit and soul, which extends beyond physicality, all the way back to eternity. This book, by no means, seeks to present arguments from a position of authority and know-it-all. It is written to help initiate a conversation on a vital and essential aspect of a man's being: the soul. The first mention of the soul is in Genesis: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7). The law of first mention in the Biblical Interpretation process demands that some attention be given to the soul of man. The KJV translation reveals the word "soul" is mentioned 498 times. The suggestion here is that humanity should have always paid attention to the idea of man as a "living soul" and not just a body. While I believe in the value of the body, because God made it, I believe the soul carries equal significance because Jesus came to save our souls. Creation is groaning for the fully matured son. While it is good that one person achieves transcendence and manifest as a son of God, there is a greater call for the body of Christ to grow up into the head (who is Christ). This growth has to do with the soul of man that became a new creation with the born again salvation experience. Let's talk about man as a living soul, and may this conversation reverberate throughout the earth as there is a call for believers to come into maturity as sons of God.
