There is a real revival in the study of Islam on the part of the general public, and a new inquiry within the Church as to the Church's relations and obligation to Mohammedanism in the face of the revolutionary events that have taken place in the Mohammedan world during the last four years. The world war is having a more startling effect upon Mohammedanism than upon any other of the great religions.
