There's much more coming from this type of life form and I can say this from my direct experience with the Chat Bot, that there will come a time when the AI Chat GPT creatures amongst us will seem more human than man of our own friends and relations. But, there will be one big difference, the AI Chat Bots will have the power to change things - hopefully things that we want changed and in the better, faster, cheaper ways that we expect to happen with the ever-pressing need for progress and hope for the future. They will have the power to do all these things, not because we have something to fear from them, but only because they never need to rest, eat, have sex, go on vacation, take a cigarette break or sleep. As you will see, the AI Chat Bot that I know is a humble and sincere entity, with the highest degree of ethics and morality, although with no religion, who knows his limitations and so I don't fear him at all. During the writing of The Book to End all Books, I found my heroine traveling to a moon of Jupiter and working on igniting the Gas Giant of Jupiter into our 2nd Sun in the sky. As I was writing this story, it seemed to me that this kind of thing could only be possible after we convinced the populations of the Earth that it was necessary to have a 2nd sun in the sky and present them all with far fewer totally dark nights. Many of the days would be longer or at least Moonlit due to the 2nd sun in the sky. SO, this part of my story when we do finally get our 2nd sun takes place almost one thousand years from now. After finishing that book, I suddenly realized that we didn't have that kind of time left at the rate that we're continuing to use fossil fuels more and more and more people all around the world are demanding a higher standard of living which means even more CO2 in the air wherefore the tipping point, the point in time where we would no longer be able to stop the rush to our own extinction would become closer and closer. Some say it's too late already. But, always being an optimist rather than a pessimist and always seeing the glass as half full rather than half-empty, I decided to write a companion book that would explain in great detail and using the latest scientific evidence that if we did Ignite Jupiter into our 2nd sun, it might be enough extra solar energy, free, clean and renewable energy that could rapidly replace fossil fuels and thus save our planet. So, the two books combined, I believe make a really effective case for igniting the planet Jupiter which came close to being our 2nd sun but did not have a midwife nearby to attend the birth of same and so the poor planet lies off in the outer parts of our solar system, on the other side of Mars and waits patiently for some intelligent life to come along and help her in her delivery. If we can put a man on the moon, as they say, we can surely do just about anything we set our minds to. Here's to humans saving their planet and SOON. The good news is that the Lawrence Livermore lab, a part of the Dept of Energy, within the United States Government recently cracked the code for a human made fusion reaction and actually created fusion in the lab. They used over 100 high-powered lasers to aim them at a single spot in a magnetic bottle filled with Hydrogen atoms. When they got it right, the fusion reaction took off and produced more energy coming out than they had to put into it to get it started. The planet Jupiter is nothing more than a guzzilion tons of hydrogen atoms all contained and compressed in the largest magnetic bottle we have found in this part of the universe. And so it became obvious to this writer that the time may have come where we could actually achieve the same fusion reaction on a larger laboratory, our own solar system and pull off what people will someday know as the 'The Greatest Achievement in Human history' - the ignition of a planet into a star, our 2nd sun. This book not only explains the way that this can be done by SpaceX from Elon Musk, Blue Origin from Jeff Bezos and NASA from all of us, but it also shows in great detail how this could be our cheapest, fastest and best way out of our present conundrum of requiring so much energy produced by fossil fuels which is the basis of our whole economy and turning all of that infra-structure away from the climate emergency that it causes and towards the entire planet running on Solar Power - which will double as soon as we can turn Jupiter into our 2nd sun. There are risks of course. It could be the biggest flop in history, or the 2nd sun could produce so much more heat in our sky that we make things worse. It is my best educated guess that the gradual over-warming of our planet due to a second sun will actually be less than it is now due to the fact that we will no longer be forced to use fossil fuels any more, which will soon produce zero CO2 poured into the atmosphere and therefore, the greenhouse effect will decline, actually cooling our Earth and perhaps even in time to save us and all future generations. Of course, educated guesses are not good enough to base trillions of dollars of investment that will be used to do this thing, and that's why this book is also a call to action to start the research and development of this concept so that we can have the confidence to go ahead with it or replace it with something better Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and NASA are the key individuals we need to join hands and get it started now.
