Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Inspirational Story and Coloring Book Philippians 4:13"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Hey little broken wing butterfly. I have sat in your shoes in more ways than one. Let this book help you get through everything that you have been going thru. I believe God has called me to speak to those children who are hurting in silence. My words of encouragement will help your wing heal and be able to fly again. I wrote this book to inspire you in so many ways. The reason why I can fly my wings again is because God sent amazing people to help shape me. These people helped me fly again thru being a mentor, mother figure, and friend. He even used ones in my life that hurt me. "All things work together for those that love Jesus." Roman 8:28 NIV.I love him. I want to empower you and tell you that you are more than a conqueror. Even when you lost, you won. You might ask, "How did I win when all I see and feel is failure?" Everything in our life is for learning and growth. I know what it feels like to be rejected. This means when one is not accepted or no one invites you to fun places. I know how it feels to lose a loved one. My mother passed away when I was ten years old. I know what it feels like to have a hole in your heart because you want that person to come back. This is called grieving. In all my pain that I experienced God had a plan. I feel like part of the plan is to speak to broken wing butterflies like yourself in order to help you fly again with confidence. I hope this book helps you to search for the gifts and callings that are already within you. Pick your head up. You are so loved and special. Fly butterfly, fly.Love always, Catherine Ewing-Booker

What if one deeply loved has died without hearing of the love you felt? What lies beneath the most sacred of our days? Inspired by the hope that resurrects the heart, this book of poetry is a compilation of thoughts over several decades. Each page celebrates the power beyond us, the love within us, and the story beneath the surface. It is the author's prayer that having read these lines, the reader may feel the "still, small voice" a little more clearly and may sense the God among us a little more certainly.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is an illustrated picture book for kids that tells the story of an injured butterfly. It can be read at bedtime for kids and as children's story books generally. It takes children's minds off to a fantasy world of wild animals that have learned to live with a young girl in her ranch. In this book, a cute butterfly named Flora accidentally breaks her wing while flying through Melly's ranch. A friendly bird named Ava approaches to give her some support. Melly had inherited the ranch from her late grandfather and had invited all the animals to come live in her ranch as friends. Melly is also an expert in fixing broken butterfly wings, but she charges much money for her services. Ava offers to take Flora on a tour of the ranch while they await Melly's return from the farm. How could Flora tour the ranch when she could barely fly with the injured wing? As they both tour the ranch, Flora and Ava meet several animals and learn the unique qualities of each one. They even discuss with some of them. Will Melly be able to repair Flora's broken wing when she returns? And more importantly how can Flora pay the bill for the surgery since she has no money?

Through engaging anecdotes and inspired advice, profiles of home gardeners throughout the country, and interviews with scientists and horticulturalists, Lawson applies the broader lessons of ecology to our own outdoor spaces. Detailed chapters address planting for wildlife by choosing native species; providing habitats that shelter baby animals, as well as birds, bees, and butterflies; creating safe zones in the garden; cohabiting with creatures often regarded as pests; letting nature be your garden designer; and encouraging natural processes and evolution in the garden. The Humane Gardener fills a unique niche in describing simple principles for both attracting wildlife and peacefully resolving conflicts with all the creatures that share our world.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I devoted years to the study of the teachings of one of the world's great humanitarians, the medical missionary, theologian, philosopher, organist and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Dr. Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965).I thought about his life and pondered over his statements, such as: "When you portray me it should be not as the doctor who ministered to the sick. It is my philosophy of Reverence for Life' that I consider my primary contribution to the world", and "Will we be able again to entertain and exercise ideals which transform reality? This is the question before us today." I found that his words are as valid today, as when he spoke them. Physician of the Soul' I used letters I had addressed the Man of the Century', Albert Schweitzer. I used this format as a process to describe the changes in consciousness occurring as I proceed with my quest for growth, truth and understanding. I describe my childhood and my experience of marriage and divorce, to my mentor and teacher, who had become my ideal of what a human being is capable of becoming.I address the subjects of meditation, reincarnation, karma, intuition, responsibility, purpose and how they relate to our destiny. By pressing beyond the limitations of thoughts, often born of doubt, ignorance and fear, I discovered that I am a soul growing through every experience. Life is the journey, leading us to the path, not only of self-discovery, but a journey of remembrances.I talk to my teacher about the truth I discovered, that life itself is my teacher. Looking at myself has been the most painful, and at the same time, the most liberating experience of my life. I also found that comparison to someone else causes pain, suffering and unhappiness. I present the reader with the opportunity to undertake his or her own courageous journey towards liberation and self-healing, as "Know Thyself" becomes the quest.
