One character voluntarily leaves the collective glow while the other is left alone by the death of her parents. The major lesson is one of connection, to one or more other beings. We connect by finding joy, sharing it, and by realizing, experiencing, and accepting the joy of connection with all of existence. Darkness and light are part of the same river seen from different perspectives. We are drops of light and color in a vast river of light with no beginning and no end. We are the glow. The several major pieces of the writer’s artwork included evokes the same kinds of meditative thoughtful frame of mind in pursuit of meaning.
